@RedMoon3284 It's because sometimes voices are part of the instrumental and it would be very hard to take it out unless you took the whole song apart or just made your own version of it. But yes, she must like to leave a piece of herself in all of the covers!

@johnnyBgoode2 ok other than program being hard to go from one language to another (yes thats including that luka is known to have both languages programmed in) if you ask some1 that has only spoken one language (japanese in this case) do you think it would even be THIS clear? at least i can understand it some1 who has only spoken one language always has trouble speaking in the other language some people still have trouble being understood even when they speak english for YEARS

the program probably tried to fit the words to the song's tempo which made the words harder to understand because most japanese words have more syllables than in english

I've never used Vocaloid, but I figure it's got to be pretty difficult to make it sound good, even with a Japanese one. Even a lot of the more official English Vocaloid songs are quite difficult to understand without subtitles. I think you did a very good job. I know that I definitely wouldn't be able to make Luka sing that well. Great work:D

I see this in every video people make :P they don't say arigatou twice, they say it like this: Arigatou-aa~ arigatou. and when they say the 'aa' part, and ECHO say arigatou again, not them :) sorry, but it drives me crazy. if you don't believe me, listen to Rin's version :) (actually, I don't think they say the second arigatou :P I think it's just an echo saying it 2-3 times and the main vocals keep saying the aa part ^^")

Something that makes it hard to understand Luka in this song is that she goes from soft to loud and then back to soft again. The quick changes in notes is also a problem, so it sounds like all of her notes are sung "staccato". "Kokoro" is very fluid and smooth, so try connecting the notes (legato) next time :)

The problem is she's too soft, you can't hear her. Her English is fine.

There's also another thing, this song is faster than Luka's recommended tempo, so it might not sound as good as it would with Rin. It's the reason you see Luka doing slower versions when she does a cover.

Luka is a JAPANESE vocaloid singing an ENGLISH song. Although she has a english voice bank, it would still be hard to make since she has a japanese voice.

@CyanBaka1 The original intention of making Luka was to make a Bilingual vocaloid, so that she could sing in both ENGLISH and JAPANESE , and also, he english voicebank is the largest out of all of the Japanese Vocaloids. making Luka sing in english takes forever to get the hang of.

it all depends on how the user makes the song but I would've expected a little better pronunciation on that.
