twilight, i described it as a guy who is scared he will kill his girlfriend with his boner, lol. but seriously the guy is lame as fuck and the books and movies suck my balls
wow, I watched all 19 of these videos, and it totally wasted my life. some parts were kinda amusing though, like the creepy vampire pedophile who kept making weird faces and the serial killer dude (i have this thing for serial killers:Phaha).. XD oh wellllll. :)
one you are all using wikipeadia as truth and fact you know thats all shit that people like you have out on there its basicaly a information forum, you all NEED A FUCKING LIFE. interesting film but the fact is they dont exist just nut jobs who watched too much tv as a child, dont be superstitous idiots think for yourselves.
Knowledge has been wrongly passed on to new generations. Even if it has responded to a many societies where sharing knowledge was forbidden as it offended rulers at the time. It can be easily seen in mythology, and religions, those extint religions and those that are still alive. Like the priest drinking Jesus blood and eating his flexh. Vampires and other concept disorders will be among us until we evolve our beleives and leave religion behind and focus our new generations towards spirituality.
The whole thing was fascinating and entertaining but it doesn't make me believe in vampires. Even human vampires. People who need to drink blood don't have to dress and behave like
"real" vampires. Just drink blood. No Goth myth needed.
Plus the narrator made mistakes about a number of things.
For example, Countess Bathory never bathed in women's blood, as far as we know. That was legend, not something backed up with fact.
That series was entertaining but not to be taken too seriously.
Wikipedia, the one you suggested I consult, contradicts you. And all serious scholars do too. That legend was good for sensationalism. But there's no historical evidence that she did that. Maybe she did, but it's not in any official, credible source of information. That's what the historians say. Novelists have taken liberties. Tv shows often try to entertain. Can't trust them
The truth as it is known, is that bathing in blood is not talked about in official documents.
OMG!They didn't even film the vampire bite the woman (that's why I was still watching it lol).... I guess that was just to keep people interested, no disrespect towards the people that made it but I think it's a bunch of crap you know... First of all, it's not very structured, second: those interview are just totally fake, third: that vampire in the woods is very fake and we don't even see him and the woman together for one second... It could've been better without fake interviews I guess ;-)
i hear ya, but it wasn't even a real documentary so couldnt expect much. it was half decent i'd say. some of the stuff was fairly informative. but all it did was explain how vampires relate to modern culture holywood, and some reality. not the best subjects to touch on when your talking about vampires. the purpose of the movie was bad. (i call it a movie because like you said, the only reason most people kept watching it was to see the lady scream, hence a movie)
i saw the all 19 parts of this shit..........and the meaning.........pointless,there is no vampires, and if they are......then i'm superman LOL or maybe BATMAN......or captain AMERICA LOL
well, it wasnt pointless, it's point was to imphasise on how vampires influence culture, liturature, and socialality. you could put "the point of the movie was pointless"
Hello, when I came across your video for this documentary I couldn't believe it.I used to have a copy of this on vhs cassette. I had purchased it at "BlockBuster's Video" years ago before DVD's came to be. Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond my control I lost my copy of "Real Vampires".I would love to know where online or anywhere for that matter I could order this on dvd/vhs?I tried the link to download the video and the site appears to be down permanently.Thank you.
So in conclusion, there is no such thing as vampires, just people who live as if they were vampires thus vampire lifestyle. So no, vampires are not real. Just people who think are vampire are real.
If you were to take these people who claim they are vampires and lock them up in prison for a year. Absolutely none would die from lack of blood feeding. But you might see some mental disorders arrive such as aggression and whatever they think should be the side effects of blood hunger. Some might actually stop eating real food because they think it's making them ill.
People who claim they are vampires in general are living a lifestyle of what they think vampires are, some drink blood, some think they drink people's energy psi-vampires, some think they can't walk in light, some think light has no effect on them. It's what they believe vampire means. As I said it's only a lifestyle.
Props to my Sangarian family here! Anyway, considering vampires are normal common people it makes perfect sense they dont have one culture. I am irish, but just bacause the irish blood rice pudding on christmas does not make them all vampires. Same goes for indians...us which on a side note hunting a deer a drinking up all it's yummy energy is a wonderful expo. You all should try it...during deer season of course.
It's strange how they spoke of all these activities, and yet, never mentioned, the culure of Native Americans. They would kill a deer and eat the heart and drink its blood. It was to honor the animal, but nontheless, they drank the blood.
Well, and the First Nations still have some rather brutal practices such as the sundance and all... some have even stretched these rites to suggest underlying vampiric activity pertaining to them. I, however, am Cree and Sanguinarian, and although this is fascinating, I certainly don't buy any of it as having been vampiric. But to each his own. Perhaps a vampire is a chameleon of culture and has no one true definition.
All my adult life, I have desperately preyed/wished/spelled that I would be turned into vampire all the while maybe I always was one. Just no fangs or super healing like the steriotype. Maybe I am one? That would be a cool revelation!
All of your adult life has only been 8 years, dear... lol. There's still plenty of time to figure that out and live your life as a vampire if you so choose. :) Best of luck with that!
I have a genuine hatered for all humanity. I get extremely turned on by seeing someone viciously mangled or beheaded. I have witnessed this first hand while masturbating. I have tasted my own blood and have taken a razor to my dick during masturbation and loved the feeling. I dress in mostly black. Most of my possessions are black or silver. My other fav color is red. I am a serious planner with extreme patience and intelligence. I also love the night and have photosensitivity but no allergies.
we sound very simliar. i spot only two differences: i am female, and i do have an allergy. Ironically enough, that allergy is garlic. Very small amounts make me feel exteremly dizzy and makes breathing and motion very difficult. Anything more, and my throat closes up and i pass out. Even being around it makes me feel light headed.
i have alot of alergiy's. perfumes, most fungis, pollen, most grasses, inscents, etc. i just say im alergic to nature and perfume. but i love nature so it sucks at times. my alergies to everything oher than fungises makes my eyes itchy my nose run and my throat close up. and for fungis it gives me a rash if i touch it and i puke if i eat it. YAY ALERGIES!!!

Okay, anyone know how many how those friendly flirt things were on these videos, i dont know why they would want to put a dating site on a vampire documentery
Wow that took a long time but i watched it all....i found it very interesting of how things develop over time and take on different froms and meanings. Most things i didn't know about vampires and vampirism, so i found it very informative and would rate it 5 out of 5

yes she did bathe in blood you idiot,
look her up on wilkepedia or whatever

Why don't you check Wikipedia yourself. She didn't bathe in blood to retain youth, at least there's no evidence of that.
Search Elizabeth Bathory. Read the folklore section.
