Around the same time HHH got this injury, I broke my leg in a college football game I was playing in, and honestly, I was half assed my rehab for a few months, but when this video started playing hyping Triple H's return, I would repeat this video over and over during my rehab to get back to 100% and, when I finally returned it was all worth it and I came back better and even got a standing ovation when I returned to the field; it is just too bad none of this is true, but it made a good story!!!

HHH was already main eventing before he started dating Stephanie. He was a four time World Champion when they even broached the McMahon-Helmsley Era storyline. He was dating Chyna when that started and as he got to know Steph, that's when he fell in love with her.
HHH is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. Believe what you want, but he's earned every title reign and title shot he's given. He pushes himself to the limit to perform for us and I'll always be an HHH fan.

Couldn't punish the WWF Champion so they fed Triple H to the Ultimate Warrior and left him in the European Title and IC title level. On one hand sucked for him...on the other hand we got the Texas Rattlesnake :)

I have seen it...it's pretty loud....Rock of course is my all time favorite wrestler and that pop was pretty loud, of course all these judgements are non-objective but I'd still have to go with Trips' pop besides the pops that Rock used to get just after he turned face in the mid and late 99 months were much louder than his return pop IMO, still a good one though...Rock is def. the man in terms of getting the most out of an audience.

WWE is a prime example of a ruthless business for wrestlers, there are no retirements plans, brutal traveling schedules, and very little job security unless youre a mid to high card. Basically the management has all the control so I dont blame Rock for leaving WWE because it was a smart business decision, he can work a less hectic schedule that doesnt bruise and batter up his body every single night and make 10x more money doing so.
I love people who call The Rock a sellout because given the chance I doubt anyone else wouldnt make the same decision if they were in his shoes. From a wrestling standpoint there is really nothing more he could have accomplished in the WWE and not even The Great One can save the stale shows that the WWE puts out each week. Well he got his first heavyweight belt in August of 99 and actually his third title reign came in the beginning of 2000 but it's pretty well known that Trips cheated on Chyna with Stephanie which eventually led to his and Chyna's breakup by 2000, so the fact that he actually stopped dating Chyna in 2000 doesn't indicate the whole truth. His multiple title reigns started in late 99 about the same time his relationship with Stephanie did. His title reign dates are listed on the WWE website.
Because Triple H basically married into power and is one of the biggest backstage political voices ever seen. If you look at the amount of title reigns that Hogan and Flair had and how many Triple H has already, its ridiculous hes not nearly as popular or beloved as those two wrestlers were. I believe either this or stone cold's desire video with my sacrifice from creed are easily the best come back promos, no doubt.
I miss the attitude era, it had everyone, and i feel sorry for people who werent so popular, but did all they can to entertain us, like stone cold etc, they got reputation & popularity, but wrestlers like (& i know you'll hate me for this) but Chris Benoit, in my view was one of the best wrestlers going, and i don't believe he murdered his family, just my opinion..

HHH was already main eventing before he started dating Stephanie. He was a four time World Champion when they even broached the McMahon-Helmsley Era storyline. He was dating Chyna when that started and as he got to know Steph, that's when he fell in love with her.
HHH is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. Believe what you want, but he's earned every title reign and title shot he's given. He pushes himself to the limit to perform for us and I'll always be an HHH fan.

@Westfan98 True. Triple H was supposed to get the push that "Stone Cold" Steve Austin got in 1996-1997 but he broke kayfabe when him and HBK hugged Nash and Hall in MSG before they left for WCW. Couldn't punish the WWF Champion so they fed Triple H to the Ultimate Warrior and left him in the European Title and IC title level. On one hand sucked for him...on the other hand we got the Texas Rattlesnake :)

Triple H is nowhere close to being on the level of The Rock or Steve Austin....but the pop that he got from the crowd when he returned from this injury was as big for any wrestler as I've ever seen...it was amazing!

I have seen it...it's pretty loud....Rock of course is my all time favorite wrestler and that pop was pretty loud, of course all these judgements are non-objective but I'd still have to go with Trips' pop besides the pops that Rock used to get just after he turned face in the mid and late 99 months were much louder than his return pop IMO, still a good one though...Rock is def. the man in terms of getting the most out of an audience.

WWE is a prime example of a ruthless business for wrestlers, there are no retirements plans, brutal traveling schedules, and very little job security unless youre a mid to high card. Basically the management has all the control so I dont blame Rock for leaving WWE because it was a smart business decision, he can work a less hectic schedule that doesnt bruise and batter up his body every single night and make 10x more money doing so.

I love people who call The Rock a sellout because given the chance I doubt anyone else wouldnt make the same decision if they were in his shoes. From a wrestling standpoint there is really nothing more he could have accomplished in the WWE and not even The Great One can save the stale shows that the WWE puts out each week. Also while I like Triple H and am not a hater like most people, its very ironic that you reference to The Rock as a sellout and not Trips.

Triple H didn't have any handounts, that might be the funniest thing I've ever heard....you do know that he's married to Stephanie Mcmahon right and that her father is CEO of the WWE right? And that he only became a main eventer once he married her right....now I'm not saying it takes a rocket scientist to explain his sudden success but I'll let you figure it out though I doubt your capable of it.

I'm not sure where you got that info from but it's just not true unless your counting belts besides the Heavyweight Championship belt even in which case I don't think is an accurate statement for before he married Stephanie. Lets just agree to disagree....I'm not denying HHH's talent but from my point of view he didn't achieve his success solely by himself. Also you can call The Rock whatever you like but there is no denying his success either considering many consider him one of the best ever.

HHH was a seven time World champion when he married Steph in October 03, FYI. He was a four time World champion when he stopped dating Chyna in 00, so that's at least four before he started dating Stephanie.

Well he got his first heavyweight belt in August of 99 and actually his third title reign came in the beginning of 2000 but it's pretty well known that Trips cheated on Chyna with Stephanie which eventually led to his and Chyna's breakup by 2000, so the fact that he actually stopped dating Chyna in 2000 doesn't indicate the whole truth. His multiple title reigns started in late 99 about the same time his relationship with Stephanie did. His title reign dates are listed on the WWE website.

Because Triple H basically married into power and is one of the biggest backstage political voices ever seen. If you look at the amount of title reigns that Hogan and Flair had and how many Triple H has already, its ridiculous hes not nearly as popular or beloved as those two wrestlers were. So if you think that his success is solely based on his skill and not all the politicking he does, well I just think it becomes hypocritical when you call the Rock a sellout and Triple H The Man.

I remember watching the match and when he was walking up the ramp, i was like "only a week or 2 and he'll be back" The next SmackDown they was like 8 months - year and that actually made me sad. Yes, I got emotional over wrestling... This turned me into a loyal HHH fan, and no matter he's a DX face or an Evolution heel, I gave him respect b/c of the injury
