We love Imam Ali (as) because the Prophet (saw) directed us to. He said that in order to understand him, we must understand the character of Imam Ali (as).
Once we understand the character of these people, we are able to know how to become proper Muslims; they serve as spiritual guides.

First of all, Shi'a don't argue about what people 1400. We clearly know who did what. The Ummah betrayed the Prophet and his family and waged multiple wars against them. If you question the importance of discussing history, I recommend you open the Quran. There you will find the story of As-habul Kahf, Luqman, and Maryam. Apparently Allah believes it is important to discuss history in order to learn lessons.

Every prophet was sent for people to worship Allah (saw) alone. After little while people starting those prophets and sheikhs. This is the only crime Allah (saw) does not forgive.

Obviously, and it is fundamental Islam that Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) is the Khatam ul Nabi,no Prophet after him. I have been taught that even family members of the Prophets are addressed as Alhais Salaam so Bibi Ayesha, Bibi Fatima, Imam Mehdi - I add Alhais Salaam after all, anyways i am not hurting anyone, am I?

This is an open challenge for the Shia to give Quranic verses which outline and justify the Shia concept of Imamah. Can the Shia produce even a single verse outlining Imamah, without any additions to the translation, without parenthetical insertions to the translation, without Hadith to “support” their interpretation, without Tafseer, and without their own personal commentaries leading us from verse to verse?

First of all, Shi'a don't argue about what people 1400. We clearly know who did what. The Ummah betrayed the Prophet and his family and waged multiple wars against them. If you question the importance of discussing history, I recommend you open the Quran. There you will find the story of As-habul Kahf, Luqman, and Maryam. Apparently Allah believes it is important to discuss history in order to learn lessons.
