@tonyel120 the 6000D will be more suited for your intended target species. The 8000D will have a lot of line capacity that you do not need in this case.
nice video. thanks for posting it. i just purchased a 8000d baitrunner im hoping to catch something. wow that was some nice sailfish. have you used the baitrunner to catch any other large fish. how is the reel holding up. did you have to lube it or any service or has it proven to be a tough reel?
The 8000D has seen even more Sailfish action since plus other species. So far it has required only the standard care like rinsing after a saltwater trip, etc and has proven tough.
