i have 2 map turtles, and theyre very friendly, they like to be handled, and they like exploring my place... although mine are mississipi map, everytime i look into the tank they come up to see me.. i love having turtles :D

I have been watching your videos for a bit now and wondered what your thoughts are on aquarium size. Currently I have a hatchling map, 4inch female yellow belly, and 6inch male yellow bellow. What size setup do you think will work for them as adults?

@TheTurtlelover09 As a turtle guy my self i recommend slowing down the current turtles love to float in the water your making it hard for them to relax in the water and they need to relax to be able to sleep! But other then that your doing great!

I bought my map turtle 4 days ago and I was really scared, that he is sick and this might be the reason why he doesn't eat. But on the 3rd day he started to eat small dried shrimps. After a few bites I started to add some water snails that I crushed for him (because he is too small to crush it with his mouth) and the miracle happened. Since then he has been an addict to food. He would like to eat all the time. The only thing is that he doesn't really want to eat greens...
