Was a project assigned to a guy called Charles (I think his middle name was Edward) Babbage, but he did invent it, just kept tweaking it so he never officially signed off the project as done, I am actually a web/software developer, well more a web dev than I am a software dev, with a very very very small ISP with about 50 clients on it.
