@ichmagkirschen1 I used to think that this show was cancelled because it was "too honest for the public" or whatever. But apparently, Louie was actually uncomfortable with how fake the show was, as the writers and producers kept forcing him to give episodes happy endings, make things work out, etc. Which Louie thought was bullshit. He brushes on the subject in the season 2 of Louie, his new show. Lucky Louie was an amazing show I still watch and Louie is much better so it all works out.

I never caught this show when it was on. I've seen every episode of his new show and it's one of the greatest things on air as of late. This clip may not be the funniest thing ever, but I just watched an episode of 'Big Bang Theory' after hearing so much about it and god damn that show is awful. Between that shitfest and 'Two and a Half Men', prime time comedy is at an all time low. Half of those shows is forced laughter. The saddest part about them both is that they are generally well liked.

As someone who went to AA and then stopped I find this more than just amusing. I'd often think that maybe some of the people in the meetings were just assholes. I'd also think that a 12 step program that has all this higher power crap in there is flawed. Drink responsibly everyone.

Now I never heard of Lucky Louie til I visited New York, and I absolutely loved the show, especially compared to the Hollywood crap which usually ends up running on the tv's back here..

If you have time i would recommend you check out comedy's like 'Father Ted' or 'Black Books' both low budget comedy's form across the pond which are really really good...
