same thing happened to me in Glacier National Park, got 10 feet away from one of the baby goats, the Alpha male of the pack came 5 feet away from me and gave me a cold, chilling stare, what an experience it was though!

After taking too many photos of a mother mountain goat with her new baby, she became irritable and chased me and my husband a ways down the mountain trail we came up! I'm no expert on the rocks and slopes as she is and boy did I feel vulnerable! NOT a good feeling lol.

Craig! this footage is awesome! wow that alpha goat was staring you down - good and smart of you to bail like you did. those montana mountain goats are very large. they seem larger than the stambecco in the alps. what gets me sickened is the satanists use the goats for their representation and i personally know the goats (all goats) HATE THAT they do that and wish they'd stop. i speak for the goats when i say they are sick to DEATH of this!
