I torn acl by begin pushed by a girl during practice bball. Had surgery in summer 2011. I hurt my knee agian in 5 days ago by landing from a jump . Now my knee feel kinda unstable ;( but ill be fine in May 2012. I miss my normal knee!! Soo sad . Goodbye real ACL. Graft you sucks!

@gymnasticslover23 some tears are worse than others, i tore mine a few weeks ago and i could not walk on no matter what for at least 3 days after i hurt it, but i have heard a lot of stories of people going on with sports with a torn ACL and it turns out usually as a horrible decision everytime

SOrry for not replying sooner. Umm i am about five months post op on my second knee and I can almost play sports again! woo! No, It's not really difficult to walk at all. Try to get your range of motion back (as soon as possible, but you were probably already told that). Really get your strength back, too. I lost like seven pounds after surgery and it was all muscle. That, and just stay really possitive and do all of your PT work. Good luck with everything and i hope your knee is feeling better!
