I think Axl does pretty well, for someone with "issues"...not that they've been fully explained, but I think he seems to do quite well where responsibility is concerned. Many a time on stage he has defended somebody etc, and displayed a great care and good sense of judgment in doing so. It's not exactly the same thing but I have a close fam member who suffers from severe depression, and Axl seems more in control than they were without meds. People shouldn't be so quick to point the finger at him
Yes, Axl's bipolar people tend to forget about that... But I do belive he's taking some medication, that's why he seems a lot more in control and his weight is out of control. I'm not saying he's fat, but you can tell something is messing his metabolism.

It's amazing how good he sings while standing still. Oh well, trade a bit of vocal quality for an upbeat performance, it's great that he runs around, keeping everyone pretty hyped
Was at the Paris show in september and almost fainted from exaustion ( couldn't sleep the night before, 6 hours train trip, 4 hours of waiting in line, then another 4 hours before they hit the stage...even had to go through the pain of seeing Murderdolls live... ) but everything went away as soon as they hit the stage...It was THAT good. Sure it was really exhausting but it's been the best live experience I've ever seen.
I talked to Richard Fortus, the guitar player of Guns N Roses, and he told me, that Axl needs the time to get ready for the stage. It is no bad intention to be late.
But he is doing a great show, every time. Just see the magic!

Gnr was one hour late, after one hour delay ppl began throwing bottles to the stage, Axl asked to stop throwing bottles, no one gave a shit, so they finished concert without starting it, managers talked half an hour to make the GNR come back to stage and start the concert, so they did, but most ppl left the concert before Axl complete singing, for my view AXL's dead is a great fun.

Actually, he's singing better than he's ever done during this now coming to a 1 year tour, simply because he doesn't move around. One might say something about his stage presence, and all of that, but he sounds superb.
Also, I had friends who attended this concert and they had a blast (The stupid idiots in the crowd aside.) Also one of my friends was hurt when she got hit in the face by one of the bottles. From what she said she wasn't the only one. It hit her above the eye and cut her open. No crowd has the right to throw shit, not at the band, and not at other people in the crowd. Simple as that. @AuntySemitist MCD had set times for the bands which were completely different from the times set out on the tickets and any times available from the ticketmaster or MCD websites. i talked to the security before the show and it was there understanding the concert was to end at around 12 or half 12 depending on the length of the performance. this information was not widely known obviously as most people believed the band would be coming on at around 9 and thats why people were pissed off.

Got me a feeling that if some other bloke besides Axl Rose both asked the crowd to refrain from throwing f*ckin bottles and then tried to continue only before pulling the plug, there would not have been so much attention - I've been to sporting events where entire teams are pulled by the managers for their own safety when rowdy fans are chucking crap..how is this different? The guy is trying only to do his damn job - where's the security????

Gnr was one hour late, after one hour delay ppl began throwing bottles to the stage, Axl asked to stop throwing bottles, no one gave a shit, so they finished concert without starting it, managers talked half an hour to make the GNR come back to stage and start the concert, so they did, but most ppl left the concert before Axl complete singing, for my view AXL's dead is a great fun.

Actually, he's singing better than he's ever done during this now coming to a 1 year tour, simply because he doesn't move around. One might say something about his stage presence, and all of that, but he sounds superb.

Also, I had friends who attended this concert and they had a blast (The stupid idiots in the crowd aside.) Also one of my friends was hurt when she got hit in the face by one of the bottles. From what she said she wasn't the only one. It hit her above the eye and cut her open. No crowd has the right to throw shit, not at the band, and not at other people in the crowd. Simple as that. A few idiots can ruin the show for everyone.

@AuntySemitist Actually, no, he didn't. If you had bothered to look it up, after the opening act finished at 9:30, the crew came out to set up the equipment for GN'R and test the pyros. They finished at about 10:15. Guns got on stage at 10:30. That is hardly fucking 90 minutes late. People like to blow shit out of proportion.

@AuntySemitist MCD had set times for the bands which were completely different from the times set out on the tickets and any times available from the ticketmaster or MCD websites. i talked to the security before the show and it was there understanding the concert was to end at around 12 or half 12 depending on the length of the performance. this information was not widely known obviously as most people believed the band would be coming on at around 9 and thats why people were pissed off.
