  • November Rain's solo is more emotional than Sweet Child's solo..

  • Im sorry to say that I have never really paid attention to buckethead before. This video changed that and thank you for that...

  • @Ekram211 glad I could help

  • where is november rain?

  • buckethead has no emotion in his guitar solos very overrated

  • @lennex88 haha Buckethead's music is incredable... you must be an idiot for not realising or being able to feel the emotion in most of his music if not all of it.

  • @lennex88 then you got the wrong buckethead

  • Floods solo of Dimebag is the best fucking solo ever

    That's feeling

  • i think, buckethead's Aunt Suzie is the greatest amount of emotion that can ever be conveyed using the guitar alone...

  • nottingham lace solo he makes that guitar cry its beautiful

  • Im not arguing about the emotions in both their songs, the fact is if slash is like wine, buckethead is weed, that too the strongest weed. Slash is more standard, buckethead is different, innovative and inventive. What more slash himself admitted buckethead is a better guitarist.

  • buckethead - electric tears

    buckethead - too many humans

listen to it and tell me if he's emotional or not

  • @FreshAir911 To add more to ur list..

    Whitewash

    Wishing Well

    For mom

Machete (the solo part is SICK!!)

Soothsayer (the bending and pitch variations in the solo is just emotion)

Its hard for some people who r stuck in the 80's to digest buckethead coz of his experimental and avante garde style.

  • street child by slash and ellen have a very strong emotional solo check it

  • @CanadianMetaL16 It just makes people feel a little better about their mistakes.

  • Any list of songs of this sort without Led Zeppelin's Since I've Been Loving You or Tea For One on it is a shitty list at best. No Offense.

  • @DavidCeran just cause you add "No Offense" at the end of a statement doesn't mean you can say whatever you want..............

  • buckethead has got some of the most emotional solos out there...

  • if you really want to hear emotional solos, look for stratovarius, sonata arctica and yngwie malmstein...most melodic power metal bands hold emotional guitar solos in their songs.

  • Electric Tears is an amazingly emotional song

  • SCOM doesn't sound emotional, i sounds happy and chatchy =O

  • @imadey0utube But happyness is an emotion isnt it?

  • @InsaneClownBitch Sorry, I didn't really know what it meant back then.

  • Second song is Nottingham Lace by the godly Buckethead

  • 4 words sans these ones... jimi hendrix, machine gun

  • why did we keep hearing parts of stairway to heaven but not the solo which is one of the most emotional of all time. the opening bend and run get me going every time

  • i would of thru selkies the endless obsession solo on there by paul waggoner of between the buried and me. very melodic and beautiful. nice list tho

  • 3:14 I got shivers! Never heard that before!

But you forgot the MOST emotional guitar solo.

This guy made this song because most of his family, but the closest family to him, were going to see one of his band concerts, but he performed without seeing his family and supposed that they were late. Actually he found out that the airplane they took crashed and that no one survived. He fell deeper into drugs. And the song is Maggot Brain by Funkadelic, he feels like maggots are feasting on his brain.

  • @LinkBulletBill

    thats deep stuff right there

  • the video is great but i just want to say that if you like emotional solos just take a listen to jason becker - altitudes i think that song is in the top 3 most beautiful songs of all time

  • People tend to say guitar solo because they're focusing more on the guitar work.

  • Youre a fucking dumdass it would sound like shit with out backing tracks ive never heard a song that all the sudden every thing cuts out and there just guitar solo it doesnt happen like that.

  • what a stupid thing to say. you need the backing instruments to keep you in time, and to fill the empty spaces.

  • just fuck up and watch to the video

  • to be honest i must agree with thisIStheARTofRUIN. you NEED the other instruments for rhythm to fill the spaces.

a solo cant sound good without amazing rhtyhm :)

people just call it a "guitar solo" because the guitarist is playing the solo.

  • @freelancerk9

by "solo" they mean that the only instrument that should be payed attention to is the guitar, or whatever instrument the "solo" is reffering to, if it was a drum "solo" then all attention would be payed to the drums, and that only the "solo" instrument would be doing an awesome job and getting all the attention

  • fuck sakes, just enjoy the music that's been written, it's good to someone, like it or not

  • was Sweet Cild of Mine live?

  • great video!!

  • iron maiden all the way such as thin line between love and hate

  • slash is god, your a dumb mutherfucker

slash is good but buckethead is beyond explanatiion

  • next time put in the nottingham lace solo live from boston... even better everyone watch its intense... 1 hand shredding!

  • buckthead just doesnt do it for me emotional wise...he can shred like no other though. hes amazing in that aspect.

  • He's more emotional than any other guitarist

  • im sure he himself is emotional when he writes his music...but i just dont "feel it". his slower stuff is just really repetitive and redundant to me which makes it boring after the first couple of minutes. its as if your listening to the same stuff over and over. dont get me wrong though...i like buckethead; i just dont feel his emotion

  • Yes i agree with you, a lot of people do not understand that buckethead is more emotional in his songs than any other of the guitarists!

  • buckethead pwns at emotion and shredding, and robot dancing, and nunchucks.

  • clearly you didn't watch or listen to the video

  • Yes but you said he plays every song fast, when he doesnt...

  • @Bucketheadhead

buckethead plays lots of slow stuff hehe even my bro can play his stuff.

    buckethead is god

  • @slashisgod929 Ever heard Bucketheads "Baptism of Solitude"? Hows that fast?

Its just plain beautiful. Nothing more and nothing less.

  • yah you dumbass

  • i wud nat say so....at all....anyway

  • @Bucketheadhead You forgot about Gary Moore pal :D He FEELS the music!

  • @Bucketheadhead wtf, JIMI HENDRIX MAN!!!

  • @blinky855 dude you reallyt need to do your homework on buckethead if thats your opinion, take a look at padmasana, witches on the heath, animal behavior and the way to heaven and they are just of the top of my head.

  • you want emotional? try just about everything Steve Vai ever played, try putting all that into one video

  • i'll say this now before anyone has the chance to point it out to me

didn't exactly read the more info until after i posted that, not trying to start an argument..

  • bom pra caralh...

  • nice solos and songs, for that matter

  • i almost cry when i hear the 'the way to heaven'. thank you so much for posting this video. all great solos. all great choices.

  • Emotional or not depends that listener understand that music or not

  • Your wrong, I put two examples on, and Nottingham Lace isn't barely playing.

  • I cant beleive that he said no arguments and ur first commment is pretty much and argument starter. Its kinda funny.
