I just bought one of these and tried to swap out the spur gear. I removed the rear diff assembly but the drive shaft seemed to be stuck in the diff housing. Is the drive shaft fixed to the diff pinion with a grub screw or is it just a tight fit?

@WeDoThis4Fun LOSB9635 is the part number of the LiPo and yes, the stock motor and esc can handle it. However the will wear the motor out more quickly.

@7coolaznkid Yes and no. For consistency sake it's best to stick with one brand. A 30wt oil from Losi is going to be a little different than a 30wt oil from Trinity/Epic or Team Associated simply due to differences in production.

@10truman You'll need to remove the upper deck of the chassis and the rear gearbox to be able to get the spur gear off. To change the pinion you'll just need to take the top deck off again and remove the motor. The pinion is just a pressure-fit so it slides right on.

@11dajan It comes with a 220mAh 4.8v NiMH battery pack. Breakage has not been an issue, they are really tough and strong. I apologize but I don't know what autko is supposed to be I'm sorry.

i could not wait around for losi/horizon to produce this brushless ESC/receiver they say they are going to make. i threw in a 10250kv and new ESC and receiver, combined with the 11.1 lipo. the slipper clutch serves its purpose well. the drivetrain handles the power without a problem. its running over 40 mph. see for yourself...

at first i loved micros, i got the micro baja , the micro desrt and micro high roller, they are the same crap , i love it when i use it becouse of the speed they got but i cant use it twice , always something has to brake or not work , i just run them in ths street, i dont jump with them , nothing, just speed runs. i hope losi fix the tranny problems in this vehicles and the steering.
