There is, unfortunately, one and only one DVD release. Look up "Meet the Sprites" at Amazon and you can see a few stories from the first season of the full version show, as well as the original shorts that launched the series.

Shamefully, Playhouse Disney, at least in the U.S., doesn't air the show anymore.

John Tartaglia is a creative madman of the best kind. He and the cast of Shrek are wonderful. YoungFrankensteinFan is absolutely right. John is very approachable and extremely warm in greeting folks after the show. His Pinochio is a hoot -- especially his dancing!

In an interview on The View with Rosie O'Donald and Kristen Chenowith one time, he said that, when he was 16, he used to follow his dad, who was a musical director, to rehersal, and during rehersal, he'd sketch stuff and write stuff, and he made a sketch one time of what is now a Sprite.
