@Project62025 You've obviously never played any kind of physical sport. Your arms naturally come up after a hit like that so your body can retain it's balance. Notice the elbows don't come up BEFORE the hit (which is what would make that a dirty hit). Putting all your momentum into the guy you are hitting results in you being on the ice right next to the guy you just hit. Which does happen, but any highlight reel of big NHL hits and 90% if them have guys raising there arms after the hit.
