Point blank & I'm just being honest, the last guns n' rose album chinese democracy is pure guitar heaven, I love the album, I'm not joining in with certain fans with all the gossip, politics & lame nostalgia In which many fans here are doing, I'm strictly talking about the music , there are at least 8 killer songs on the album & all the guitar tracks kick major ass, serious grow up little babies, 1987 is gone-:)

@WayneWiblin True but its still not the same,theres no magic or danger anymore and the songs aint as strong as they were when those 5 guys were in the same room,i know it got kinnda bloated during the illusion tour with horns n stuff but now 3 guitarists and 2 keyboard players,its really not needed,i guess thats axl rose 4 u lol

blimey, The new band isn't GnR ? What does that mean ? Ever since GnR formed and unleashed Appetite for destruction, GnR has always had changes in band members. But asoon as slash leaves. You people might want to watch the interview with Scott Weiland with regards to how it is to work with Slash. GnR have moved on, unlike some of the members from the earlier days.

new GNR is awesome. Bumblefoot, tommy stinson, richard fortus, chris pittman, frank ferrer are all excellent.

While Buckethead, bumblefoot and robin fnk are awesome, but i do not love the new guns n roses, cant even say i like any of their songs

there are many who do love the songs on Chinese Democracy and are anxiously awaiting the new GNR tour starting in December 09.

if you hate new GNR that much, dont watch interviews of its members or watch their shows.

but you cant stop those who support the band. and THAT is what you cant stomach. :)

I have nothing against the current band members they are just people fulfilling a vocation and they are all highly skilled and its not their fault things ended up like they did.

I only have a problem with Axl because lets be honest,Axl is the boss in the band and if you think the other band members have an equal say then your living in a dream land.

youre living in a dream land if you think that everyone had equal say in old GNR. slash and axl were the dominant partners there but nobody had a crying fit about that then. slash actually fired the Velvet Revolver singer- if thats "equal powers" in your eyes then youve got a warped definition of equal powers.

I said the new band looked like a freak show.

Just take a look at the 2002 MTV music awards video with Axls band,it looks like a circus act, come on i mean a guy whos doing Slashs job with a white mask and a chicken bucket on his head and Finck who looks like an extra from Marilyn Manson is hardly normal or remotely classic GNR now is it.

I am sure they are decent guys n all but its not the band i grew up listening to.

@Bacon4Rashers, u didnt have to attack them individually when u already attacked them collectively.

firstly, 2002 is long gone. the fact that ure still stuck there is no surprise to me though. Buckethead left in 2004 & robin finck's look had changed totally by the 2006 tour.

secondly, the very fact that you judge bands by how the members look rather than how they play reflects the shallowness of your standards.

bands change, its natural. if you cant accept it, dont watch their videos.

I don't think Chinese Democracy sounded like GNR... it was really an Axl Rose album. I honestly thought it wasn't that bad, but it really wasn't GNR for me.

as much as i like the old gnr we needed a "reboot' of gnr somthing fresh the new gnr is just that i love the new gnr.
