Very nice indeed. I've spent quite a bit of time at this airport. I always seem to arrive when Air Berlin have their towels already laid out in the best spots!!
@manbal100 it's a Fender Stratocaster. I built it. It has a 62 flamed maple neck (Rosewood) taken out from a custom shop strat. The body is candy apple red from Warmoth. The pickups are vintage noiseless pickups (Neck, middle, and bridge) all gold hardware (Gold vintage tuners) Pearloid pickguard.
Great video. Apologies if this has been asked before but what aircraft are you using and where did you get your landing light textures from? Did they come with the aircraft? Mine look like a massive snow angel!
I know my comment has nothing to do with this video but how do you land at an airport without ILS? If anyone please. I just noticed TNCM in FS2004 has no ILS system lol, I also have flytampa ST Maarten addon. And anyways that's a hell of a video man, fantastic.
@Tranzorr It just takes practice and practice! I usually look for a reference point on the vc dashboard to keep my plane lined up with the center lines. And sometime, I don't use those red and white lights because it's a little too inaccurate for me. (Scenery add-ons kinda have this problem ex. Frankfurt) Just keep practicing. Find a reference point on your vc to keep it lined up and keep an eye on your speed and height. Remember, speed and altitude vary depending on the plane.
@Tranzorr Its called a non precision approach. TNCM has a VOR DME approach for RWY 9. Basically u only got lateral guidance with step down altitudes until u have the rwy in sight or a missed approach point, whichever comes first. Once the runway is in sight it becomes a visual and like mark said it is a judgement with airspeed and altitude till touchdown. Hope that helps.
@xXmand123Xx this is not CLS, the landinglights on the CLS does not spilt, they are closer to the default landinglights. only the aerosoft airbus have landinglights like in this video...
@spookyrambo I'm afraid I can't afford all these add-ons like you :) And I want to keep everything legal. I don't know what plane this is as first off I dont have FSX and secondly, well, it says it above :) I dont want to start a argument or anything, I just wanted to know what plane it was :/
@ImpulsivePlay3r Its more realistic like this because its giving the impression that the camera is mounted, if trying to give the impression that someone's holding the camera then the bumping would be more suitable...so yeah, what i am trying to say is that its perfect the way it is now :)
amazing video!
