Why are there so many ads against fur that don't bother making ethical arguments based in logic? For example, the only statement this particular commercial makes is, "hey, fur items were once alive"... uh, yeah? Obviously?

There are plenty of ethical reasons for a person to disagree with wearing fur or leather without resorting to such blatant shock value. Oooh, blood and guts. Gross. Guess I'll stop wearing my lambskin boots now?

Come on, tell me something I don't already know.

@Underwired By the way, I did read your video description, and I understand that the website the video directs the viewer to will have more information of the sort I'm suggesting. I still think it's pretty fair to say that the actual message of the video advert is to "remind" people (through shocking visuals) that fur is made from dead animals.

So what type of animal skins are okay to wear?? People can walk by these activists wearing a python bag... crocodile shoes... ostrich clutch .... or Uggs... which are hideous....and not have one word said to them but the minute a fur piece walks by everyone goes crazy....??
