  • since i was 7 i cried at this part

  • Yeah..i was 6 when this movie came out and a simply love it...They don't make movies like this...I show to all my friends and everyone loves it..specially this very touching scene...Thanks dad...The best movies i see in all my life was with you,,,

  • This is the best and greatest robot death scene? You ever seen Silent Running?

  • :(

  • Obama quotes this in many of his speaches

  • ロボット同士の会話だけど、ホロリとくるね(涙

  • vincent is the greatest robot.

  • This is Christopher Nolan's 2nd favorite movie..?

  • this just made me say awwwwww so cute & sad :C

  • Guess this wat old and new blackberrys go through

  • I was going to cry, but then I realized that was Slim Pickens as the voice of the deceased robot... and I thought of Dr. Strangelove.. with Johnny Comes marching home humming in the background.

Man, disney was slipping and silly before Eisner and Katzenberg came in.

  • Such a great movie.

  • Most dramatic death of a Mega Man enemy ever.

  • Never has a film been so touching with a robot death scene, more so than the death of Optimus Prime. :'<

  • you can just see him die a little on the inside with those emotionless eyes

  • I love this movie!!! I see it two times in theathers with my father...I was 5 years old....This movie and CONDORMAN,DRAGONSLAYER and TRON was my chillhood..they dont make movies like this anymore

  • @SonnyTheWhiteDwarf LMAO ye those robots were so totally designed after Vacuum cleaners haha

  • @clovelywindheaven Henry's & Henrietta's

  • Man, I totally forgot about this. Awesome

  • i'm surprised at how they generated emotions from those painted on Eric Cartman-like eyes.

  • This was a good sci-fi film. A bit underrated..but is was a good try for Disney.

They don't have to be ashamed of this film.

  • John Barry's music is the key element...and V.i.n.c.e.n.t.'s glance back closes the "door"...stealth scene!

  • SLIM PICKENS NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

  • What about optimus prime dying.?

  • this was the voice from the ever-omnipotent actor 'slim pickens'. the guy that 'rode the rocket' down in 'doctor strangelove'

  • yep have to agree, I am alas 41 now but at the time I did choke back a few, even now it still gets to me sometimes. Thats daft, and ridculous but I cant look a Numatic Henry hoover without giving at least a seconds thought for poor old B.O.B lol.

  • Love the Closeup at 00:19. Really communicates the emotion in the robots face.

  • I cried too!!!! I was just a kid!!! An when I greu a little older I was ashamed of that. Now I´m 41 and find some other ppl cried too :) :) It make me feel a little less silly.

  • ???????HUH??????

  • Pulls at the heart strings

  • Screw you Disney, you made me cry, I was just a kid then. How could you do that, kids all over the world crying everywhere, all because of some stupid pile of junk robot with funny looking eyes decides he cant make it. He was still floating all he needed was a gentle tow from his mate that abandoned him. Anyway, I feel better now, but still this scene makes me sad. I'm 35 years old now.

    Thankyou Disney, I wont forget.

  • "We're the best."

A cowboy to the end. This scene reminds me of Ripley and Bishop.

"I'll never be top of the line again. I'd rather be nothing."

    ~Bishop

  • I wish that old B.O.B. didnt die.

  • Slim Pickens provided the voice B.O.B.

Roddy McDowall provided the voice of V.I.N.C.E.N.T.

Why these actors didn’t get title or end credit is beyond me????

  • ONE MY MOST LIKED MOIVES TO WATCH PLACE WAS STILL THERE WHEN I WAS A BOY DID SOME MOPING AN CLEANING JUST FOR SOMETHING TO DO LATTER WAS TOLD TO AN SO A FEW PERSONS LEARN BE NICE AS WALLS MOVE AN OTHER PLACES WORKED IN SAME PLACE A FEW YARDS DIFFERNCES

  • I think this may be the first time in the movie that we see V.I.N.cent's eyes move without him turning his head. so much emotion expressed in just a simple downward glance!

  • This is a great fn scene, so much emotion in just basic eye movement and tone of voice, these two might be a two tin cans but their better than more than half of hollywood right now.

Loved this movie as a Kid, need to get it on DVD, and yeah I felt sad big time at this part.

  • Reminds me of Cartman from SouthPark if he were a robot.

  • They dont make films like this anymore, amazing for its time.

  • @Soloman1001 Pixar does. I'd bet anything Captain McCrea from 'WALL-E' was named after Kate McCrae (or her father).

  • You can almost hear in Vincent's voice that he knows B.O.B isn't going to make it when he says, "Well, we have to go..." Still chokes me up, heh heh.

  • @SonnyTheWhiteDwarf Your vacuum cleaner cried?

  • This is the most emotional robot death scene ever, which is unusual for a machine. I think the best robot death scene of all time is HAL 9000's death. 'Daisy...daiiisy...give...meee...your ansswerrr....doooooo...Iiiiii'm....haaalf...craaaazy....allll....foooor...the looooove....offf....you..........;

  • Very Emotional

    We're the Best.

BOB is gone, but never will be forgotten.

  • this makes me want to cry.

  • A film that really stuck with me when I saw it in the theatre as a child.

Hmmm. Was that Slim Pickens (yodeling cowboy nuke-riding B52 pilot of "Strangelove") doing the voice of "Bob"? All Bob really needed was a ten gallon hat to go with his pearl-handed ray guns...

  • LOL damn you for making me laugh while reliving a beautiful childhood memory

  • this makes me sad.

  • yes it is sad' im sure he could have been fix hu? brand new again! my all time best robots

  • RIP BOB.

  • Bwahahahahahahahahahaha!

  • I love them. I was into that movie when I was little and had the "story" album. Poor lil bob, I wonder what he looked like when he was new.

  • nice i bet!! if they both could have the same protective shell like KITT from knight rider,, yes the trans am not the ugly stang. lol

  • "We're the best." ;_;

  • I love this movie, this scene always chokes me up

  • I was 7 years old when this movie came out...I still have it on DVD The music made this movie AWESOME!!

  • This sounds silly now, but as a 11 year old boy in the theatre this made me cry, it still kind of chokes me up. Slim Pickens was awesome.

  • i must have seen this as a boy at age 10,, 50 times!!! nice if they could make an all new one with the same robots only way more acction,, and dont have bob die : )

  • @lst1195 That doesn't sound silly at all.

  • @lst1195

i was probably 4-5 when i saw this and it made me feel the same way.this movie along with 2001: space odyssey had the hugest impact on my young mind.

  • @lst1195 I think I cried too. lol that was yesterday :'(

  • Me too...i not of shame of that!!! because is a great movie!!!!

  • @lst1195 -- Thank goodness he survived that bomb he rode in "Dr. Strangelove." ;-)

  • @IncHulkLover LOL HAHAHAHAHAHAH!

  • @lst1195 That's not silly at all! Johnny Five, Optimus Prime, WALL•E. They all went through this sort of thing too. The audience is supposed to think of them as people so it's perfectly okay to weep.

  • @IggyHazard Optimus Prime went thru it more times than others..LOL.

  • @eshaw2115 True, heh.

  • @lst1195 Oh yeah, and the stitchpunk "5" from both the full-length movie and short film versions of '9'.

  • @lst1195 Yeah it sound silly now, but i get the feeling ! ;)

  • Man, and this was like WAAY before Thomas and TUGS.

  • Thanks for upload though

  • Now scram!
