  • My father was in the Vietnam War. He was in the Navy during the war. He would ride along the rivers in Nam, on a PBR boat. His spot was on the twin 50's. He is a great man along with all of the Vets that served in Nam.

  • I was the Hospital Corpsman for 3 PBR River Divisions at Rach Soi 1970. First with the Swiftboats at An Thoi . Then tranferred to take care of River Rats. I returned to Saigon in 2004, and found the pictures of the traitor kerry at the War Remnants Museum. Used in the book "Unfit for Command" He was and is unfit for anything, but to lie for his own ass.

  • My cousin died , WIA 7-11-67, died 7-18-67, Task force 116. He along with his 3 men died when a mortor(spelling) hit their boat on patrol. He was a career Navy man of age 26. This helps me understand with the history of the PBR's.

  • @gyrene1966 Just passing on to you what some of your tax dollars are financing. =)

  • how do u become a pbr?

  • Ho chi Minh, Vietnam's communist founder, is a disguting TRAITOR and MURDERER. He was a member of the Third Communist International established in 1919 by Lenin. He gave up Paracel & Spratly archipelagos with large oil resources to Red China. He even ordered to murder his own mistress named Nong thi Xuan when she threatened to disclose her sexual relationship with him since that would destroy his image as a "Father" of Vietnam who "sacrifices" his whole life for Vietnam revolution.

  • My husband was on one of these in 1966. Thank you for sharing this!
