Reading the dots is not improvising, and without improvising, it just ain't jazz. At 61 years of age and after 46 years of playing ( I still have the Midnight Blue Vinyl LP from 1964 ) I don't feel the need to post a video, thanx. KB was asked recently "Do you still practice scales, arps and voicings?" His reply " Every day".

I admire your perseverence to study and copy every riff that KB used, however I don't understand the 5 star ratings. Awesome ? no. The time spent studying is admirable, but the performance is choppy and does not have the spontaneity of an improvisation. 2 stars, nothing special.

Well, congrats on your reading ability. I once played at a jam where a saxophonist asked to play "Au Privave". He was brilliant but suddenly he stopped. I told him to take another chorus. He said " I'm at the end of the sheet" ...Hmmm.....OK

Well you should have put some repeat dots for him lol. My wifes step mother teaches piano but she can't play anything by ear, she has to have the dots I think this is quite common. Thank you for constructive criticism, I trust you shall be posting video footage of yourself in due course.
