Who the crap is "wafuigi" - is that some kind of secret unlockable character I never heard about? Of course I only know the original (and BEST) Super Mario Kart; I never really got to play 64 since we didn't have that system...

It's Waluigi, Luigi's equivalent of Wario. He appeared first in Mario Tennis on the 64 and has come back in most if not all of the party games since. He's kind of a cult favorite, like Chef Brian in Ctrl+Alt+Del, or like how Dr. Hobo was in vgcats, only more evil.
