  • At the end of the video the master sword is placed exactly where the link from twilight princess pulls it out some 2000 years later

  • @ThePIKASAUR

The Hylians have pointy ears because they are the goddesses' chosen people. They gave them those ears so they can hear the words of the heavens.

  • and i still dont know why they have such pointy ears

  • when i saw this scene i was all like

" were not master and servant, were partners"

  • @TerenB1 its after twighlight princess dumb ass

  • @poke9mon99 Okay how do you explain that the master sword is complete in TP but in SS you have have to collect three flames to forge it.

  • @poke9mon99 That was the RELEASE DATE, not the timeline.

  • this is definately before or after twilight princess

  • @SuperSonic1085 its the first in the timeline

  • am i the only one who didn't find Fi's goodbye as emotionally touching as it made itself out to be? i mean, expected her to stop being so calculating in the end and try and show some human emotion, but i didn't grow as attached to her as i did to, say, Midna. Fi's character and her role as a partner just seemed underdeveloped to me, compared to Midna, whose goodbye i found much more emotional.

also i figured out that the old lady was Impa LONG before beating the game.

  • @KingGhidorah5464 The braid gave it away.

  • Oh please, who is sad about fi's goodbye???

It would be sadder if the Beetle leaves you forever

  • i just realized....if link puts the sword down, "forever" in the "temple of time" which is what it basicly is and it seems to go great with all the other zelda games since its usually found fairly close to the temple....how does it end up in skyloft in the future? because wen he puts it down, seeing by the hole outside, skyloft is already in the sky.....hmmmmm

  • I started another file and played this again, and my mind was blown when I saw that, even the first time we see granny, she does wear the bracelet.

  • If this is true, then Fi has seen every adventure of link.

  • When I saw the grannie wearing the bracelet... Holy shit.. My mind = blown.

  • Legend of Groose....

  • @LectricSheepz LoZ Ocarina of Time :P

  • The Legend of Groose

    I'd play it...

  • almost cried watching grannie die probably most epic game ever

  • I will miss Fi very very much. But that farewell between Zelda and Impa... I seriously don't think I've cried so much over a game in my life...

  • My Analysis indicates a 75% chance that Fi will be reincarnated as Spock.

  • I was so sad when I had to leave Fi... I'd grown to love her and her little phrases and interruptions (:

  • @DarkxEyedxAngel I know :(

  • Even though if's consciousness is gone, her spirit still sleeps within the master sword. All the future links never even know it. And the funny thing is, In LTTP, Gannon knows it. Strange huh? But if they make another Zelda, they need to make a relationship between the fours word and master sword. Mabe a comet blade or something...

  • @GrandLegionare How do you know that Gannon in LTTP knows it?

  • midna's goodbye > fi's goodbye

  • @RandomAnonymousBeing dude, you need all the thumbs in the world.

  • and thus how the sacred forest meadow in twilight princess was formed XD, seriously they kinda look the same

  • Not gonna lie, Fi's goodbye was pretty intense. The people who made this game did a great job developing her character. Through little looks and phrases, we saw her become more "human," and this ending was perfect. Nintendo knows storytelling.

  • impa and zelda are like sisters

  • Who dares dislike this video?! You know what...

That makes me FURIOUS! OUTRAGED! SICK WITH ANGER!

  • @DrFeelGood6667

    HATE HATE HATE!

  • U SUCK SUCK SUCK!

  • @TheRDvlog No u

  • oh srry i didn't mean the game. I mean at the person who said "I HATE HATE HATE"

  • Why are the guardians always the weirdest/ugliest people?

  • I always thought Ganondorf was in this game. Just as a nicer person........as Groose. Groose had a striking resemblance to Ganondorf but he had one thing that made him different, he was a hero. I always perceived Link, Zelda and Groose to be the a sort of team of friends. Groose's role would later be filled by Ganondorf of course. He always looked Gerudo to me, either way, I loved this game and its these types of games kids look at as being "baby-ish" something I look at as being "stupid".

  • "may we met in another life" intro to navi

  • IS THIS THE END OF THE ZELDA SERIES?IF IT IS IMA GO TO NINTENDO RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @raigekiist No it's not ending.

  • @raigekiist actually Nintendo is working on two new games at the moment.

  • not gonna lie, but the scene with fi made me tear up

  • I almost cried when Fi left you.... Then she woke up again! Then she dissapeared.... D:

  • So, canonically, Fi is in every game, then.

  • @Ozimul Yep, seems like it. Fun fact, in A Link to the Past, when Link first gets the Master Sword, a ominous voice seemingly coming from the Master Sword itself tells him, "give me new life in a new time" which sounds strikingly like if Fi herself was talking. Either way, weird coincidence huh?

  • @lovemuffintop30 That's pretty awesome, that.

  • 5:40 : HEY WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU HOES DOING FI JUST FUCKING DIED OVER HERE JESUS.

  • Idk why everyone hates Fi, in my opinion she was one of the best partners, cause after I died once on a boss she would be like "HEY BITCH, COMPLETE ENEMY ANALYSIS" and give me pages and pages of info that would make me love her forever.

I mean for srs nobody else does this. It make me happy.

I can find something nice in every partner though.. I even find time to love Navi after she's like "LOL SORRY CAN'T TARGET GANONDORF IDK GANON'S/VOLVAGIA'S WEAKNESS"

  • I thought it was so cool how Impa turned out to be Grannie! No wonder while fleeing Ghirahim at the Gate of Time, Impa told Link that Grannie would know what to do...

  • @EnigmaSalad That was the greatest plot twist in any game for me. I literally cried at that part. Ever since then, Skyward Sword has become my favorite game of all time. No game has ever made me cry.....

  • we and my cuz think giraham is a perverdous stalker. perverdous because that one scene where he dances around zelda, and a stalker because it looks like he stalks link.XD

  • Happiness and sadness are strange emotions ya know? Her most precious data was the time spent with Link, and all the struggles up to the very end. God did it hit hard when she said "Thank you, master Link" :')

  • 9:53 groose's face is priceless

  • Also, let me get thhis straight, Zelda's a god, the Master Sword wasn't originally the Master Sword and they got the worst guard against the king of evil, all sorts of fucked up.

  • @Sonic62920 I wouldn't say fucked up. I find it interesting how all their fates (Link, Zelda, and Ganon) are tied together. I've often wondered what made the Master Sword so special that a chosen one (Hero of time) can only wield it and how no evil can touch/use it.

  • Impa did a shitty job guarding the sword....

  • @Sonic62920 why?

  • @Sonic62920 and the triforce :)

  • That means Fi's been with us the whole time....

  • I don't care what anyone says; this was my least favorite Zelda game in the entire franchise. Bar none.

  • @Sandmaniac94 I wasn't completely satisfied with it, but that's probably because I set my expectations pretty high, maybe unattainably so. Why didn't you like it? And what is your favorite?

  • @Sandmaniac94 got beat huh

  • Motion controls were screwy for me throughout the whole game, not to mention I hated Fi with a bloody passion.

  • @Sandmaniac94 well then what the heck are you doing here?

  • This gave me Groosebumps.

  • @Slooudj I lol'd

  • 9:09

This creates so much of a paradox in their world, its not even funny.

    9:48

    Paradox kicks in.

Morale of this story: Don't meet your future self, you'll screw them over with a paradox.

  • One of the few games that made buying a wii worth it :D

  • Aight. I cried during Fi and Link's little moment there, when Zelda saw the Braclet on "Grannie",

  • Zelda is one of the best known gaming series that has lasted along time and is still going

Great job to the people who made the game and is still making it!!!! <3

  • now the worst part is having to wait probably atleast 3 years for the next zelda on the Wii U

  • in my opinion SS beats out any MW3 type games, no game has the story lines like Zelda, none whould last for 25 years over multi diff platforms. Zelda doenst rely on HD graphics to be great, its in the characters, pure game play and always sticking too its origins and not changing what makes it great

  • the best thing of Zelda is no mather what the game looks(graphic wise) its always amazing. The story lines are amazing, SS drew me in right away and the first day i got the game i couldnt put the remote down. I whould still say that gameplay wise i liked TP a little more, SS needed one or 2 more dungeons but it was the most emotional Zelda game ever....LOVED it and only true Legend of Zelda fans can understand how truely amazing this game is

  • If...the master sword sealed the final decaying remnants Demise in the past and stood in that pedestal through the years with Impa guarding it the entire time, then Ghirahim couldn't attempt to revive his master, meaning the Goddess' mission would have never existed, which meant that Link would have never gone back into time to defeat and seal Demise so he could decay in the sword and be eradicated rendering him impossible to revive which meant that the Goddess' mission would have been active?!

  • i think its over... finaly... its all over: you wish

  • 9:50

    GRANNY!!! NO!!!

  • And then Ghirahim appears.

    Link: O.O

I think that would be an awesome twist. That way, Ghirahim could be in another game!

  • it'd be funny if he missed while putting the sword into the pedestal XD

  • I wish to relay to you words that I recorded many times over the course of our journey: Maybe you should take a break...

  • i heard french mens pretzel when link put the master sword back XD

  • NINTENDO STOP MAKIN ME CRY

  • "May we meet again in another life..." crazy chills at that line, total brilliance. pure hair raising nostalgia. LoZ forever.....

  • @LectricSheepz Then all that brilliance goes away when you remember WHO she might be later on........Hey! Listen! Hey!

  • @TheMasterStubbs I would agree, except that it is clearly referencing future Links being reunited with the Master Sword (and thus, Fi), not Navi. : )

  • @LectricSheepz It's actually not clear at all because nothing is set in stone. She could stay in the sword forever. She could be reincarnated as Navi. Who knows.

  • what is the name of the song playing in the beginning?

  • @ZenEternal It called Impa's fate, it's on YT-user GilvaSunner's channel.

  • @SossarHatarSverige Thanks! ^^

  • All that time in those creepy silent realms to make your sword stronger... It all goes down the drain!!! NOOOO

  • The way Fi says farewell it really gave me the chills. :')

  • This ending reminds me of the ending in twilight princess

  • thumbs up if you thought the girl in the beginning was Fi :)

  • i cried when Fi was gone. :( i havent even finished the game gaaahhh im sobbing D:

  • @HTsuna27X No, she's the Item Check Girl.

  • @nielsisback Reincarnations, my friend, reincarnations.

  • link and zelda kiss in the endnits just they dont show it

  • I couldn't help but watch this. I spoiled it for myself. And this is exactly what I said: "God, I can't wait to get rid of Fi." Haha.

  • I don't see why Link couldn't have picked up the master Sword at his time.

  • i find this the hardest Zelda evr made, so a proper end for a nice game

    tell me what you think?

  • I shouldn't be watching this, I haven't beat the game yet, but I can't help myself.

  • i dont like navi but fi is way more annoying

  • i just about cried it was so sad

  • I only played OoT 3DS, Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword (in order of completion). And so far I like Midna the most, then Fi, then Navi.

  • Saying "Fi was the best companion" just shows you didn't like Navi cause she didn't look like a woman (had no tits!)

Fi was by FAR more annoying than Navi and by far more useless.

"Master, your Battery is running low"

"I have no more Data about this enemy" Why doesn't she just say "Find out yourself, fucker!"

B.t.w. I also like Fi, so don't missunderstand.

  • @Dannyboyyay No, that's not really the reason. With Fi, you didn't constantly have HEY, LISTEN, LOOK OUT screaming in your ear. Navi only simply told you where to go, but Fi could give you all the information, hints and summaries you needed to keep up and if you lost a boss battle, she would then tell you how to beat the boss.

  • @kaihedgie

    Lol, totally: no.

With Navi you could at least just try to ignore the hints, wich actually were quite useful.

Fi just pops out to tell you something you know. Even worse: You can't speed up her text.

Like you left a building "Master, I came to inform you, that you left a building. Bye~"

And she won't even tell you how to beat the bosses, unless you found out yourself before.

And seriously, I don't see how this "Listen" was annoying.

  • @Dannyboyyay Her text is kinda important considerin' that whenever she comes out, she has something incredibly important to say or just to confirm somethin'. It's just the way she is. Also, you can choose to not listen to Fi and she only comes up when something is happening

  • wow, the amount of expression they can cram into a single character sprite is amazing. However, this is even sadder tham saying goodbye to midna in twilight princess.

  • @MegaMegafantasy

Well....I don't think so, but hey, it's your opinion. :/

  • This is an incredible ending to a truly incredible game. I actually got misty-eyed at this cutscene...just the pure emotion shown is amazing. I've never cried at a game before, but this...this was too powerful for words. This game and the memories I gained from it will last forever. SS is truly the greatest game in the Zelda series...no, scratch that - the best game in history, and its name will live on in players forever. I know for one thing that I will never forget this truly amazing game.

  • wew...so F1 w1ll go... :( poor guy or g1rl?

  • @bryan1648 why did you replace i with 1?

and i think Fi is a female

  • @InvaderRosie Fi is neither male or female. Fi has a humanoid appearance. Fi is a sword just like Ghirahim.

  • so the LoZ timeline is skyward sword Ocarina of Time twilight princess yes? if no someone correct me please

  • @Axuye it's ss mc fs oot hyrule a mm tp oos ooa hyrule b alttp la fsa zelda 1 zelda 2 hyrule c ww ph st

  • Someone had said that Zelda died at the end. WTF were they talking about? 5:08 Link looked like he was about to cry. I swear, I was, too. And the way the guys go back home...does anyone think of Midna going back home in TP?

  • I legitimately cryed my eyes out during Fi's goodbye. I will always cry happy tears while playing ocarina of time because i know i am once again reunited with her. Goodbye......................old friend. I will never forget the short time we had together and the extraordinary bond we have shared.

  • yeal the little fair girl is speaking japanese, I made out one word. When she said thank you at the end- it sounded like yoroshiku.

  • DAMN ONIONS! :(

  • Ghirahim dies

    Demise dies

    Fi dies

    Impa dies

    why :(

  • @nielsisback Fi doesn't die. She just sleeps for centuries until the hero of time appears to stop Ganondorf in ocarina of time

  • Zelda was drawn and animated pretty good

  • sooo...is impa the old woman?

  • @HTsuna27X yes

  • Link: Awwwww zelda, don't cry

Groose: C'mon zelda i'ts all OVER, you're really acting like a little 7 year old girl!

  • who else could totally see what was coming at 1:42?

  • I couldn't stand Fi throughout the game, because I felt no connection to her. But her moment in this ending caught me real good.

  • What if Navi is Fi in a later life?

  • @dudemandude232 NAH too annoying for that

  • @dudemandude232 no she in the master sword in OOT WW TP and ALTTP in the manga of ALTTP in page look the text when link take the master sword fi is talking. she not navi incarnation too annoying navi she already in the master sword in all serie

  • @dudemandude232 i believe Navi is a relative of Fi in later on, Skyward Sword precedes Ocarina of Time, and all the characters are in some way related

  • Now I noticed... why da f*** doesn't Fi have emotions!?

  • @TheFernyman shut up ferny

  • *sobs* WHY DOES FI HAVE TO GO.....????!!!!

  • Poor Zelda! She only got to see Impa for a few seconds then she dies what a rip off! :(

  • I love how after Fi says goodbye and dissapears the sword glows for a few moments before fading, you watch it and know that as soon as the glow fades completely she will be gone forever. Her music ends for the last time with the fading glow as well. Way to make everyone cry Nintendo!

  • God Link looks so sad when Fi thanks him. I love how expressive he was in this game! The combo of his face, the sad piano version of her song and how she calls him master one last time (after not saying a few times) and hoping to meet again in another life made me tear up for real! I've never been that emotional for a game ever!

  • Fi leaves Link: Nooo... Don't go! FI! NO! *No tears*

    Impa Dies: *Tears*

  • "The Legend of Groose" NES

Old Man: It's dangerous to go alone!

Groose: Nah, forget about it! Tell Zelda I said "What's up?" though!

  • @Mucrush

Fi's part made me cry too much. She loved travelling with Link so much that she wanted to try and express her feelings for him. I didn't expect Impa to die. When the line came out "A sleep without end." Woah, I started watering up. The only thing I wondered is why didn't Fi become Link's companion in the Ocarina of Time when he drew the master sword. So then we could have Fi instead of Navi!!! YAY!!!!

  • @ZeldaWindWaker50 It's because she said "A sleep WITHOUT END" That means she will never wake up.

  • altough midna's departure was sad and made my eyes watery, and navi did nothing but leave link, Fi really brought a tear down my cheek because of the music and the way she said 'a sleep without end' made me really sad. So i'd have to say Fi was so much sadder then Midna

  • the legend of groose....that was a joke.. lol it was so obvious what they were joking about

  • wait i change my mind

  • the ending with minda was sadder

  • Link and Zelda had some moments but the goodbye between Link and Fi is the most beautiful moment in the game.

  • and know we know how the mater sword is made

  • i might seem like u wuss...

but this made me cry TT-TT

  • @ThePokemoncollector Same here T.T!

  • Fi's theme is easily the best theme in the game. Thumps up if you agree.

  • I just noticed this: Fi looks very similar to Ghirahim with the diamond crest on their chest and their "hair" style, almost the same character design.

Perhaps it was a hint that Ghirahim was a weapon?

  • @tryingtogetanameomg

Not only that, but when he turns himself into that black sword for a moment on the last battle, the handle on the Master Sword and the black sword is disturbingly similar.

  • Dammit!

Why must Nintendo be so good with bitter sweet endings?

Always all seems good and happy but there are always a few things that let you shred a tear.

  • wait.... did they travel back or in time`??

  • The portal LOOKS LIKE a Twilight Rip off

  • @5Reizen5

Haha I thought the same when I saw how similar the Gate of Time in SS is to the Mirror of Twilight in TP.

However, knowing Nintendo, I wouldn't call it a "rip off" so much as a "revisit" or a "recurring theme" :P

  • one giant tear rolled down my face during this part

  • they should have made fi more human

  • when sword goes in pedistal most epic scene ever

  • ;_____; awww fi!<3 I will dearly miss you!;____;

  • sad stuff

  • I'm not crying. It's just been raining. On my face. And if you think you saw a tear run down my face. PLEASE. PLEEEEEEEEEEEASE. Don't tell my mates.

  • "I think it's over... Finally, it's all over..."

Who else had an OOT flashback when Zelda said that? ;)

  • Is it just me, or does the music from 5:43 to 8:28 and from 10:25 to the end not sound orchestrated?

  • Comment removed

  • Ya know, this puts a weird perspective on the ending to wind waker. When Link finishes off Ganondorf and leaves the sword hes putting an end to the battles begun here, and leaving a friend he forgot he had.

  • @torru36 I guess it means that that Link, started a new Era...meaning that he ended everything that had a connection with that past...I guess that that was the wish of the King of Hyrule...to erase the Hyrule of old...with everything that its bound with it...and for them a future...a new beggining...it so sad because...I love Skyward Sword Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker...meaning how theses games are like one biiig story :( SS the origin of OoT and OoT the curse of Demise came true, WW the end

  • also fi and impa are servant and of cousre zelda and link are like the master of both

  • the legend of groose ftw

  • ...Wow, that song that plays for Fi....it's amazingly sad but SO GOOD.
