J'ai adoré ! Quel humour ! Quel bons commédiens , Chanteurs et Danseurs whaaa ! ! J'habite la Belgique et la télévision Belge ( Bruxelles 3 ) a passé cette version : Lausanne 2008 " La belle Hélène " Ce Samedi 10 décembre 2011 ... Je n'ai hélas pas pu l'enregistrer... Alors, comme ladylaeriel

I am a great lover from all the operettamusic from offenbach and I really did LOVE to see this grande finale.

Great videos, wish more of the performance was available. The numbering 1/5 through 5/5 is out of sequence. It should go like this (in order):

3/5 is 1st: no. 3a in the score;

1/5 is 2nd: no. 8 in the score;

2/15 is 3rd: no. 15 in the score;

4/15 is 4th: nos. 18a-18b in the score;

5/15 is the 5th: no. 21a in the score

Thanks so much for putting these extracts from the Lausanne performance up. Absolutely wonderful stuff! Full of fun and energy and without doubt my favourite version of Belle Helene yet. Great Can Can dancers too!

Marvellous! What a pity that my (or all?) loudspeakers are too meagre to catch the delicate and still forceful sound of the orchestra. I've seen the production live and I loved it, hope to watch it on a DVD soon.
