In a country with over a billion people, execution is the only way to set an example to the rest of the people and maintain control. China does not work with democratic policies or forms of government because the people have been suppressed for so long, that once they get a taste of capitalism, everyone wants more and is willing to do just about anything to get more. That's why execution is the best way to prevent and deter its people from corruption and crime.

Only Singapore has a really low crime rate and the death penalty.
