@pickachuuuuu I wouldn't want this to be a film. We've seen this kind of genre before on TV and in film. That's why Alan Wake exists. Alan Wake is based off of those films and TV series, Especially Twin Peaks. The point of Alan wake is to play out those fantasies in a video game, with an original story of course. In other words, if it was made into a film it wouldn't be special and probably not very good since they would have to cram Alan Wake's story in 2 hours.

I doubted this game when i came out, i gave it a chance and i rented it and im really enjoying it. The only annoying part are the fight scenes, they get too repetitive and it feels like a chore. Other than that the storytelling is awesome and there are so many WTF moments it's like you just want to continue and see what happens.

I play for fun. I don't play to get loads of kills. My KD is shit. So don't go assuming I care a lot about kills, alright? The main reason, I dislike COD now, is because of the way IW and Activision are treating us now. For example, the map pack was popular on 360 so they increased the price when it came to PS3

I bought AW cause i really liked the mini series prequel they made. I'm now done with chapter two and starting to feel bored. I was hoping for more dialog and story, but all i seem to be doing is running through the woods at night shooting badguys it's so predictive and repetative. Just because alan wake wasn't a high budget game like MW2 don't mean it's crap.

In my opinion, alan wake IS better than MW2's single player. The story got me hooked, but the ending was slightly dissapointing, but there is DLC which is free, so shut up all those who say it sucks cause they probley never played it.
