mine keeps getting stuck when the water wants to go down... do you take a coarse grind or do you do something special?

I've heard that happen's when you have to fine of a grind. I normally go with just finer then a drip grind and haven't had a stall yet.

I realy don't get it, it tried it at french press grind, filter grind, finer then filter grind but nothing works... It goes up fine but when it has to come down, the coffee grind that are being sucked down jam the "filter"... starting to think it's broken :)

What kind of vacuum pot and what kind of filter are you using?

The pot in the video is a Bodum Santos and it comes with a reusable plastic filter.

I use a fairly course grind but when it does get stuck (which happens from time to time) i turn the heat back on until all the water rises up to the top chamber and then remove it again. This seems to clear out any clogged coffee from the filter.

That is awksome! I've owned a vacuum pot for years. It has never gurgled like that. You rock, coffee man.
