I can't help watching this wondering whether or not Lindsey was at peace with the band knowing he was leaving after his fulfillment to making the record, seeing as he stopped just short of making the videos that accompanied "Tango In The Night". Knowing how much he had felt disgusted with the band by this point and choosing not even to do the tour with them; this video presents a curiosity of his feelings towards the rest of Mac.

and in regards to the emmeline question: when the band first began recording this album, yes, stevie WAS still heavily coked (and mick just cleaning up). stevie's contributions to the album amounted to demos sent to lindsey to build arrangements around. many of her contributions didn't fit the sound of the album, so this song, penned by her friend sandy stewart, was a hasty last-minute addition. stevie has very poor eyesight and misread the lyrics ("all the way down you held the line").
