Als niet jood heb ik diepe respect altijd gehad voor een man als Leo Fuld. herrinnerend aan de vele zondagen dat ik als kind met mijn vader op onze buik lagen, en plaatjes draaiden. Vooral de combinatie van de schitterende muziek en de fragiele maar o zo schitterende doorleefde stem van Leo Fuld, maakt dat ik de tranen nog steeds over mijn wangen lopen bij het beluisteren van zijn onverwoestbare, tijdloze muziek...
