@aaronthrelfall1xx Hello, I just connected my camera to a PC, pointed it towards the screen and started recording. The software I used is called "cheese" and I used it under Ubuntu.

@oviorus did you download CL-EYE-DRIVER and do it or do you just go onto that website and thats it ?

@aaronthrelfall1xx I don't know what is CL-EYE-DRIVER, I just connected the PSEye on my PC on Ubuntu and it was recognized automatically

@aaronthrelfall1xx I'm sorry, I don't know what link you're talking about. The link to download ubuntu is ubuntu.com Once installed you can use Synaptic Package Manager to install "cheese" (the recording program)

@BenC961 Yes, I think all software on the Ubuntu repositories is free (open source), your PC must be running Ubuntu tho, which is also free
