  • It's okay Pluto, i'm not a planet either.

  • They should all be planets!!!

  • Hey genius...a Dwarf Planet is still a planet. =/ Jackass.

  • It's so humbling when you think about the universe, it makes you realize how small and unimportant you really are as a human being. It's a crazy feeling. I think everyone should take a serious look at the stars in the sky and humble up a little, maybe then everyone wouldn't think that they are so important.

  • I already know why Pluto isn't a planet anymore, but I jjust love these videos! <3

  • Soo... they say it's not a planet cause there would be too many other 'planets' if it was? Well... that just fails.

  • PLUTO IS A PLANET IF JUPTER ,SATURN,URANUS AND NEPTUNE ARE PLANETS SO THAY ARE GAS PLANETS SO IF PLUTO ISNT A PLANETS THEN THERE ARE ONLY 4 PLANETS IN ARE SOLAR SYSTEM SO THERE!!

  • Pluto will always be a planet in my heart!

  • aww poor pluto! i still believe its a planet lol

  • Pluto has it's own fcking moon!!! it's a planet!

  • i said NICE ONE BRUVVA

  • Wow... then wouldn't eris be a planet

  • Oh...some of you Pluto fan-boys

  • Pluto will always be a planet.

  • @Swackers90

But its not. Watch the video again.

  • Less than 2% of the AIU voted .

Gosh, lets base ALL science based classifications on a 2% vote!

    Pluto is still a Planet.

  • Sailor Pluto disliked this vid. XD

  • upset no i very livied

  • I remember learning about the 9 planets and then right after our final exam where we named all the furthest planet from earth(pluto),pluto was no longer a planet -.-

  • Yuggoth is pissed.

  • pluto will still be a planet to my heart

  • Pluto is still a planet, its just small.

  • @PissedPlayinPimp No, it isn't a Planet; The International Astronomical Union decides what the definition of a planet will be, since they are experts (not 'so-called experts' as you dismissed them). Members have more knowledge on the subject than we can ever dream of, and as such they have the right to change the definition to make it easier for non-experts. This reflects the pliable nature of scientific study, and the ability to change in light of new and more compelling discoveries.

  • IM A MIDGETT SO IF PLUTO IS TOO SMALL TO BEEE A PLANET AM IIII TOOOO SMALL TO BEEE A HUMAN GOSH?!?!?!?!?!?!

  • @oVENbAKEDbROWN ArE pEePul "Hu" TyPe LiKe "DiS" "hUmOn"?

  • hahaha if pluto is too small to be a planet IS A MIDGET TOO SMALL TO B A HUMAN?!?!?!?!?!

  • They say uranus as if it had one syllable...it has 2 lol; ur-anus.!

  • i'm kinda waiting for the scientist comunity to say "astronomers" are not scientists either (vote to say if a planet is a planet? pulease)

  • ok kids you know that pluto not a planet but did you know the sun is not a star?

  • HE LOOKS LIKE THE PPPPLATTYPUSS GUY

  • @maripk96 you guys are mean

  • @syafiq107 THAT'S WHAT I THINK TO

  • I grew up in the 90's,so i was taught that Pluto was the ninth planet and that's what i will always think of it as.

  • @zelikris You're an idiot. Shut the fuck up.

  • @atticbasementattic aww dude "the idiots just amish! lol

  • Pluto IS a planet it is just a different type of planet from the others. The definition of planet is "a body revolving about a star" and pluto even has its own moon!!

I love the planet cartoons though :D

  • @reduolf i love planet cartoons to but pluto is not a planet maybe in the 90's but not anymore i like your smiley face here's mine :D I LOVE SMILES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Pluto is SO a planet. Science needs to stop hatin'.

  • Dear NASA,

Your mom thought I was big enough

    Signed, Pluto

  • FAKE AND GAY!

  • very educational.....thanks

  • Pluto is still a planet and always will be i don't give a shit what astronomers say and why astronomers have the right to vote on Pluto being a planet. i didn't go to school all those years and have to memorize and study these 9 planets every year just so a small group of people can say that it isn't a planet and that we only have 8 in our solar system. next there gonna say that Jupiter isn't a planet because it doesn't have a clearly defined surface and is made up of gases.

  • @CSG18267 well planets like Jupiter, Saturn, and Uranus are also called gas giants

  • poooor pluto :'(

  • PEDO-FACE!!! :O

  • Did you guys fake your age?(zelikris, aquadetray)

I'm reporting you kids to the POLICE!

    You'll get tracked down.

Oh yeah! This was the best movie for education.

  • pluto IS a planet. astrologists can F themselves

  • i know!

  • @lkoster08 Astrologist are sooo stupid for saying Pluto isn't a planet anymore, even though I can't back my shit up.

  • @TheKnifeSlasher Well you are stupid for not knowing the difference between Astrology and Astronomy. Idiot.

  • @JonnyFlash80 YOR AN IDIOT TO!!!JONNYIDIOTFLASH80

  • Hell, I wish Pluto was still a planet, THUMBS UP!

  • Pluto should get a lawyer .

  • stolen video

  • @AndersonFamily12 Who cares?

  • Pluto is a planet to me

  • @Alien43 Same, If its called a dwarf planet. its still a planet, but just for dwarfs hahah! They still call it a planet and you never know, people could actuallyy live on thattt planet

  • I don't care, Pluto IS a planet to me still

  • That's right! Pluto is not a planet. (=

  • @natasha23music Says who??

  • @SerranoHills Says NASA!

  • Hey guys, they're not Roman Gods, but Roman names of the Greek Gods. Romans use to believe in Olympus too after they conquered Greece. We chose the Roman versions because it's easier to pronounce them correctly.

  • Leave it to America to find a planet that gets demoted . . . and Pluto is a type of asteroid that is in the Kuiper Belt. I'ts not a planet cuz it's too small but because it is not quite as round as the earth or Neptune and BECAUSE of it's odd rotation around the sun it cannot be considered a planet. The science definition of a planet is basically anything completly round and orbits the sun due to it's own stablity in Gravity

  • O GOD GUY LOOK OUT THE GREEN SCREEN IS EATING YOU O GOD NOOOO

  • Poor Pluto and the Pluto is a cool thing thing to learn

  • Pluto isn't a planet anymore ya dumass's! Get used to it!!!

  • is he high?

  • Pluto is an observation post.

Who is this guy indoctrinatiing to?

  • Pluto will always be a planet to me

  • pluto is a planet

  • @wiki223 no its no did u even watch idiot

  • URanus

    What a silly name :3...

  • @MokoziWorld Heheheh I know. But all the planets (except Earth, i think) are named after Roman gods :P.

  • @4getfulness16 nah

i think is because of the stars

or the scientist just made everything up and say

    IS SCIENCE! GET OVER IT

  • @MokoziWorld Possibly. Meh, whatever. We learnt about Roman gods in Ancient History. All I can remember is:

Jupiter - leader of the Gods

    Mars - God of war

    Venus - Goddess of Love

Pluto - God of the Underworld

    Mercury - the messenger???

And I can't remember Uranus and Neptune. I think Neptune was God of the sea and Uranus was Plutos son or something?(correct me if I am wrong). And I can't remember Saturn either. But it could be because of the stars like you said? Eh!

  • @4getfulness16 actually Uranus was Zeus's Father and he was the god of the sky

  • @Nintendo64fan234 Thanks for that ;).

  • @4getfulness16 Neptune was brother of pluto his other name

    (HADES)

  • @whosaidgirlygirl444 That's it! I thought it was something like that. Thank u! I thought Plutos other name (the Greek one) is Hades?

  • poor pluto :(

  • I do not think Pluto is a planet

  • where did these weird objects come from eris, sedna, juna

  • They where always there but where only discoverd resently.

  • @edisfoamy junO

  • Valid point, MiCILC.

I can see the benefits inherent in demoting pluto, and thus advancing "their" self interests.

Those benefits are so clear I won't insult anyone's intelligence by naming them. So clear, so tangible, yes I agree the "experts" are being paid to lie to us about this. That investment will easily be recouped within a few years by the things I won't mention which are obvious and clear. And the ongoing costs of paying experts to lie, also easily recoupable.

    Yes, its all so clear.

  • I can smell another meeting about this in the future. The logic is faulty! I mean, one day when we evolve our technogy to a point where we start finding way too many planets the size of Earth, would that create a need to demote Earth too? Space is really big for our little brain, and you know it's going to happen inevitably. Demoting pluto only because there are too many "planets" that same size is not a good enough reason. Is this the best a board of smart people can do? Dang! We are doomed!

  • I don't think of it so much as demoting pluto more as just getting a better understanding.

We have learned more, this requires a change in our thinking, we adapt - this is the history of humanity.

But, on a side note, I think this is playing into the hands of the Imperial Warlord Mong, and his evil Plutonian armies.

They will invade, take over our governments and steal out women.

Also likely take our chihuahuas and other types of yappy dogs, but I have to say I'm actually okay with that part.

  • Did you hear why pluto isn't a planet anymore??OK I will answer your questions.Pluto has gone because upcoming planet Nibiru that will come in 2012 pulled pluto wit Its gravity.

  • Your stupid,,,

world is not gonna end in 2012

  • LOL 0:10

  • that guy scared me haha

  • i'm tracking you down to the police.

    How old r u?

  • Dwarf planet still has the word planet in it...

  • Although it's true that science constantly changes and corrects mistakes when they were wrong in the past, this is not the case for Pluto.

It was just a change in conventional nomenclature to demote Pluto. Not a big deal if you ask me.

  • If Pluto is to small to be a planet, is a midget to small to be a a human?

  • Pluto isn't too small. It just has a lot of plantesimals surrounding it. That's why it isn't a planet anymore.

  • @zelikris v yes

  • @zelikris yes that's why we call them dwarf humans ;)

  • @zelikris You dont know what "planet" means . There are lots of things that something needs to have in order to be a planet. Pluto is not a planet , cuz if you read something at least about it , you will learn that it has very limited gravity power and it is just to small in compared with all the other planets. No , a midget still IS a human cuz he HAS everything that you have as a human.Pluto just hasnt some things that all of the other planets have.

  • @AnGrYGrEeKGuY The real reason is that Pluto is not alone, not that it's too small. Eris is pretty large, but it's not a planet, either, simply because astronomers couldn't classify all of these many objects as planets! Imagine having to memorize 1,000 planets instead of eight! Ugh, challenging, much?

  • @zelikris i don't know good qustion

  • @zelikris :) The real reason is that Pluto is not alone, not that it's too small. Eris is pretty large, but it's not a planet either. Hey, at least Pluto has dozens of buddies!

  • @zelikris

no but a dwarf or a gnome is too small to be a human.

  • @zelikris Yes, they are in a separate category called "dwarf humans".

  • @zelikris Midgets are not humans. they are dwarves :D

  • col

  • Fuck the IAU,the masses should decide!

  • It would be too much for our little brains to have like hundreds or thousands of planets. It would be like, learning hundreds or thousands of words or something, a task we are not capable of because we are idiots.

  • What the fuck, takes us 70 years to find something bigger then Pluto. Nah, plutos a planet. he gets special treatment.

  • neptune just knocked over uranus

  • so nice :D i like it

  • Very educational. The Animations are cute. Hehe.
