  • THIS IS THE LOOP TO USE

  • im trippin pretty bad ... wow. this looks like Medusa.

  • Im not sure if someone asked this before but do you have a higher quality copy of this? Is the Youtube version the video you used for you actual prop? Thanks.

  • Sorry, but the face is from MaskedLion

  • Yes, MaskedLion also has a copy of the original face, but

    a) I didn't get it from him

    b) none of us can claim ownership, since it was created by and for WDI/WED

  • @jaspearianpictures well said !!

  • You did a fabulous job with your Leota!! I saw your video showing the finished product. It looks great! If you don't mind... how did you create the waving effect? I am trying to use After Effects. I would like to do something similar, and having the hair glow really makes the effect. Thanks!

  • I'm pretty sure it was a filter called "wave" done over a starbust graphic. Two layers of that-- one reveresed and at 50% opacity. Nothing fancy.

  • thank you very much!

  • Oh weird! It's kinda psychedelic with the wavy green.

Can you make her sing "Age of Aquarius" or something?

  • Ha ha! I wish...but this is the original footage of Leota's face, so no singing for the time being :)

  • now after 20 years i know what she is saying! me and my daughter only caught half of it before when she was 3. now she is 16 and we finally found out .........thanks!

  • ha ha! Glad to have helped!

  • isn't the head a little small???

  • Not really. The projector sits about six feet away, and the green glow lights up the face of the witch who is gazing into the crystal ball. See my other video, "Madame Leota 2008" for the completed effect.

  • yeah, i know, cause i saw that one. But it looks so small, but i guess a projector makes it bigger.... right?

  • Right!

  • ok thanks!

  • If you dont mind my asking, but is there a glare on the glass dome from the projector?? This looks real cool, i want to try this for Halloween, you also have an idea about making a holo Darth Vader. Thanks for sharing.

  • yup, there's a glare. It usually goes unnoticed because the other lights in the yard also reflect on the globe.

What is a holo Darth Vader? You mean like the blue holograms they use to communicate in Star Wars? Try a Pepper's Ghost effect (plenty of info if you search that on google or youtube).

  • Eerie. I love it! Thanks for posting it.

  • Hi Jasper

    I still think thats cool

  • thats awesome!
