shouldnt the split screen be an effect and not a transition? because when i converted two media clips of my playing guitar and the audio was perfect the but the video have a vertical split screen showing only the right half of the video of one clip and showing only the left half of the other video when i want the whole picture but distorted to fit two clips on one

Im on xp, and both the PIP and split packages do not have the setting that is in the end of your video, with both of the videos Playing side by side, With PIP all i get is one of the videos bouncing around, and with split, the closest thing to it is on video halfway overlapping the other....help please.

@tflinn22 I have this problem too, it's not just that one is loud for the entire duration, what's happening is that the first movie is loud and then dims out towards the end, while the second movie is so quiet at the start and then gets loud at the end. (ie it's fading the first one out and fading the second one in, and it's not just as simple as adjusting the volume or selecting 'fade in' or 'fade out')

How can we change this?

@D3Guitarist7 I had a similar problem, and I just put a 'fade in' effect (right click on video in timeline - select 'fade in') on the first video and a 'fade out' effect on the second video. This seemed to confuse the volume controls and made them both normal and balanced :D haha
