  • 00:47 terrible PI call, but we'd take it, right?

  • Man WolverineHistorian, you are making me feel OLD! I was 16 and at this game.

  • Bowden against Bo, wow! Bowden was a great coach. Unlike so many southern coaches that would shy away from coming up North and would rather beat up on some small school U, Bowden would play anybody anywhere.

  • @westonsz And the exact same could be said for Bo's Michigan teams. They consistantly during his tenure played some of the toughest schedules in college football. They had Notre Dame on the schedule almost anuually when they were a powerhouse and would often schedule a second top ranked school, in this case Florida St. Michigan may not of always won, but during Bo's time Michigan could compete with anybody in the country.

  • these two teams should schedule a home and home.

  • two of my all-time favorite college football teams

    go blue, go noles

  • i was 16 then.very hard hitting game.

  • That's longtime Atlanta Braves announcer, Pete Van Wieren on the PBP.

  • This is classic Bo/Michigan football. Just look at the 1985 game v. South Carolina. They simply ran you into the ground. Amazing memories. Thanks for sharing...

  • Michigan Historian, I want to thank you for all the great Michigan football games you have posted. It's good to see Bo beat Bobby Bowden, head coach of Free Sneaker U!!

  • who is annoucing this?!

  • This is the day Cliff Burton died...

  • Why wasn't this game on a bigger network?

Think about it: high-ranked Wolverines team against a Florida State team that was about to start on their amazing run.

  • Wow, I never knew TNT broadcasted college football games. I know TBS used to broadcast college football games (Including bowl games like the Gator Bowl and Carquest/Micron PC Bowl).

  • Actually, this was technically TBS, but before 1988 (when TNT was introduced as an actual network), TNT was a sydnication service back in 1982 for some NFL All-Star games during the strike, and also in the 1980s they aired the All-American Bowl on TBS. Also, in the 1990s, TBS used to air the Senior Bowl and TNT had the NFL from 1990-1997 (1st half of the season).

  • Second home game my freshman year. Great stuff. Thanks!

  • Great video! One of Michigan's finest teams.

Love the wishbone set by the goal line for Gerald White's TD! FSU had no answer from Jamie Morris.

  • Bowden vs. Bo

    EPIC!

  • i love it
