This was a great song live last night in DC. It probably had the biggest response from the crowd. The whole show was amazing, though I miss the keyboards. As for the whole "goth" thing, as a longtime Cure fan, I always thought that label was ridiculous. ironically, they make some of the most upbeat songs I've ever hear, but folks like to pigenhole. Kind of sad I think.

From your reply, I take it you weren't around when goth was born, in 1977, like I was, as I was (and still am) a goth myself. Goth is what is also labeled darkwave. By goth, I don't mean new generations who need an excuse to disrespect parents and system, I mean what was born from punk, and had a great taste for dark poetry and the supernatural. I do believe The Cure fit the label, although it is a little tight on them, as they are this and a mixture of other things too, at the same time.
