  • looks like a high voltage ac arc to me, just saying, the 'gun' in the title sorta implies that u shot plasma, not that u created it

  • lol

  • You sound a bit like the guy off bangbus

  • @MrJANTJE123 ahahaha Don't Bother cause his name starts with soul so he is taking souls from EVERYONE RUN!!!!!! Except Chuck Norris

  • Dead Santa......

  • @SOULJAJOE010 i hope you mean dear.....

  • dont underustimate nerds

  • nice

  • I thought a plasma gun would be something like a UV laser and a plasma welder put together

  • you should have used your hands it would be better as you were earthed

  • this is not a plasma gun. this is a fucking tesla coil.

  • not plasma dick-wad

  • Hm lets see, Plasma is the fourth of the chemical shapes, compact, floating, gas and plasma. To get plasma you need to heat up gas so hot that the electrons separate from the nucleus. This is not enough

  • by now you must've gotten to bigger plasma you nerds... we want bigger plasma!

  • So you can link a beam of static electricity to a tesla coil. Not hard.

  • nerds are cool!! -0-0-

  • F*cking Nerds

  • i think its a magnetic field

u stubid plasma gun has more light and power+greater magnetic field.

  • hmzhey anyone want to play with me

  • In physics and chemistry, plasma is a gas in which a certain portion of the particles are ionized. The presence of a non-negligible number of charge carriers makes the plasma electrically conductive so that it responds strongly to electromagnetic fields.

  • That's not a plastma gun, It's a tesla coil

  • @smokkapi If you haven't checked, electricity is plasma, and so is fire. They made electricity. They made plasma. Though it isn't a gun :p.

  • What good is a gun you have to convince the enemy soldier to grab a ground wire in one hand and your plasma gun in the other?

  • Why is the fire extinguisher under the table that will catch fire?

  • @usernameiswill Because they're idiots.

  • @usernameiswill So it explodes due to the fire on the table and extinguishes it immediately afterwards, I mean, why do you ask so dumb questions, they're geniuses! They thought of that in the firt place beacause it's far more practical than runing away from the fire and fetching the extinguisher to turn it off.

  • more like arc light without the dome :B

  • Eemm... hm... And where is the gun? )

  • was that a fucking screwdriver taped to your gun?

  • I can use this as pepper spray instead!!

  • so how fucking ridiculously worthless was this piece of shit you made? it made noise and that was it fuck the plasma i couldnt see shit and even if it was there go fuck yourself with that dildo looking contraption cause you didnt do anything that hasnt been done a million times and that no one with a few dollars and boredom coulndnt do fucking loser.

  • TERRORISTS!!!!!!!!

  • Hu? I was expecting you guys to have balls of plasma shooting across the room. It's just a Tesla coil...

  • yeah, a bad made one... and low v.

  • so how did u make it exactly?

  • It was just a Tesla Coil.

  • nice job 5 stars

  • I'm glad it worked out. So...what is it?

  • so how you make that without an ion partical accelorator or a hydrogen fuel cell

  • You don't!

  • ............

  • @TheDeathChrist duh they used a fission battery. noob

  • THATS EXCITING! WHOO HOO! that looks like funnnn i want one. they look dangerous

  • im confused

what the fuck is a plasma gun ?

  • A gun that fires plasma - superheated gas.

  • thanx i think i member....

  • this is just a boring tesla coil... nothing special -_-"

  • thats a f

  • Actualy there is no plama in the video, it's just heat. Plasma is heated gas to a temp so high it literaly melts. It is so hot it has to be contained in electromagnetic fields as it destroys everything it touches. In theory if you slice of someone's arm with plasma then there will be no blood as it should harden from the heat - steal the wound by burning it.

  • lol yes obi wan.... i like the way u put that. but how does gas melt? ive taken chemistry and was the best in class but we never learned this :/

  • Plasma is not realy hard to make all you need is a few lasers. They use the lasers to superheat gas, but.... It's realy hard to control as it's too hot for any known container so they have to hold them with electromagnetic fields. Funny thing is noone has held plasma in cointainment for more then 10 seconds.

  • You would need 30 kilowatt lasers to heat normal air to a plasma, otherwise, your plasma is doomed to exist in a vacuum.

  • I don't think that's enouth.

  • OWNED. BITCH

  • Awesome work! Please make sure your hard work stays in the hands of those who will use it for peace, not war.

  • Really cool :P

Cool to see this stuff when it's all put together and in action.

  • i was waiting for something to explode in a shower of sparks lol...good vid though, nice to see someone actually make something lol

  • Great vid, thanks for posting :)

  • wtf

  • awesomenesss ive study the tesla coil and this was a great demonstration

  • Ok guys i`m new to this but i seem to be really interested in it. Could someone message me on how it works? That would be great thanks.

  • it's a tesla coil searche google

  • what can you kill with this exactly(its called a gun so you must be able to kill something)?

  • You know there are electron guns in CRTs and they dont kill anything, nor do paintball markers which are legislated under gun laws, a gun merely sends a projectile (no matter how small) on a gaven trajectory.

  • it's like an Ion gun. Only thing it does is ionize atoms. A gun doesn't mean a weapon. This plasma gun is not like a plasma rifle in halo :P

  • What is the actual definition of a gun then?

  • A device that shoots a projectile.

But it doesn't necessarily mean that you are to use it for killing. A nail gun for example is used by carpenters to ply wood together. You catch my drift?

  • well if you were somewhat sadistic you could use it to kill someone lol. Ever see "no country for old men"? lol

  • Yes that's a great movie. But I don't see why that has anything to do with killing someone with an ion gun :D

  • i meant that anything can shoots something can be used to kill someone...kind of an extension on the definition of a gun lol

  • WOW!! easy there. calm down, i jut had a wrong perception about what a gun actualy is. oh and you can kill someone with a gluegun(if you try very hard you might do it). and i don't want to kill something.

  • squirt it fast up Ur but, yeah we could kill ya with it. and probly kill some bystanders to,.the screams would be so loud it would blow our ear drums.die laughing LMAO

  • i built a coilgun myself =P

high voltage stuff is cool; as is that

    :D

  • thats just a crap tesla coil

  • damn right its not even tuned at all! lol

  • ahhhh back away turn it off!!!

  • this is not a plasma gun but tesla coil (like in red alert 2 for soviets)

  • "Do you have a plasma rifle with a 40 watt range?" "Hey pal what you see is what we got."

  • thats a tesla coil. not a plasma gun. and i believe the proper term is coilgun or gauss gun. the only reason that it might be called a plasma gun is that if the coils are strong enough the projectile turns into plasma.

  • so like in the future like not that distant we could have plasma weopons? no im the nurd

  • wait does it actually shoot plasma?

  • am i not turtely enough for the turtle club?

  • looks like you had a short circuit. maybe a thicker wire with more insulation is what you need. and i would suggest a larger charge for better visible results.

    whose the nerd now?

  • we are such nerds

  • its ok nerds r cool ;)

  • Yes we are!
