  • I am based in UK. I was so electrified see this video because I was born in Harappa but left at early age. Some time in lift I will come back and visit those ruins. I remember we used to play hide and seek, running up and down around there when I was like 6 or 7 something. Unfortuately it wasnt so much looked after due to lack of funding. But the museum there is worth seeing.

  • omerlives, actually the academic discourse is setlling around the proto-dravidian theory.

the aryan theory has been pretty much conclusively dismissed.

  • The IndusValleyCivilization covered all of Pakistan and a great lump of India.

All rivers that lead up to the Indus river and the Sarasvati river (even parts of the Ganges) have settlements linked to Indus civilization.

(The Sarasvati river or Ghaggar-Hakra River has dried out)

Also there are many clues to link it to Dravidian languages, but I agree, no definitive proof.

Don't let current national pride issues diffuse the work of uncovering these great archaeological sites.

  • was there any account that states the word pakistan some 4000 to 5000 years ago?bharatvarsha was the name used for the indian subcontinent more than 5000years ago.

  • Actually its in Lahore Pakistan and it was discovered in 1956 by pakistanis because indians could not

  • The Indus Valley Civilization was built by the Dravidians (dark Caucasoid peoples, who now live in southern India). The Aryan monkeys invaded the Indian subcontinent around 1500 BC and enslaved the natives based on the caste system.

With all due respect, your nation, Pakistan, is an Islamic country, which can trace it's history back -- "only" -- to the Arab and Persian invasions which occurred during the middle ages.

The Indus Valley civilization is Dravidian!

  • teif all indians are descendents to the indus civillisation than Illama Iqbal (who got the idea of our country) and our dearest Mohammad Ali Jinnah AKA Qidad - e - Azam (who fought for the country's independence 7 years after his best freind Illama Iqbal Died)WERE BOTH INDIANS SO THEY WERE BOTHE INDIANS BEFORE INDEPENDINCE. DumbAss Read A book why won't ya!! Also dONt nag about anything without knowledge

  • You monkey brained, smelly Paki. Hahaha you showed your typical attitude. It won't be long before Pakistan is nuked and all your terrorists are killed, including you.

And learn to spell, you filthy inbred.

  • yes they were beacuse the term pakistan didnt exist then.

  • Watch the video " namaste(greetings) from nepal"

and you see 3 kinds of people.

    1. Kiratas(indo-mongoloid) mentioned in Veda

    2. Afro-Austric(Dravidian)

These 2 are the indigenous of indian sub-continent.

    3. Indo-Aryan( who are strictly into vedic culture)

From the people we know the truth.

Truth can be hidden but it can never be erase.

  • is there any dravidian accounts that sates so?if the dravidians hated northernes so much then there must be atleast some folore describing the event but no there is none.

  • @Indiaexpress,

There was no such thing as 'northern Indian' in those ancient times. The entire subcontinent had black skinned people. Even now dont be fooled. There are many descendants of black people in Northern India and Pakistan. Check pakistani drummer Pappu Saeen.

The lighter skinned liars controlling Indian media like to portray that blacks only live in southern India.

  • @sonofthedestroyer

subcontinent has seen too much of migration of various ethnicity and races, outsiders as like mongols, afghans, turks, arab ravelling in for trade or invading land, their generations settled here and mixed up wiht locals. Its hard to to say who exactly were the original 'natives'. In Balochistan (Pakistan) there are people looking like africans and same ethnic people are founding Southern India around Orrisa.

  • "...it was discovered in 1956 by pakistanis because indians could not"

The Indus Valley civilization was discovered in 1842 by Charles Masson in his "Narrative of Various Journeys in Balochistan, Afghanistan and the Punjab." Charles Masson is not a Paki, as you stated.
