@Karlcarl Thank you for your comments! Well I developed it incrementally. I actually think staying relaxed is key to maintaining a good staccato as opposed to tensing the entire arm. I used a metronome, and gradually increased the speed when first learning this piece. I will make a instructional video on staccato and the Hora Staccato in the next few days.

I just played with Sting (the singer from the Police) for his tour last spring. That was a blast! He's so nice as a person and a gifted artist.
