Little harsh there DramaTubeFag. I think the point of the video was to show the different kinds of plumbing and electrical fittings capable of being used. Most pool owners have their equipment installed for them. Those installations are typically "permanent" with flex electrical and glued pvc pipe (no threaded unions). This guy retrofitted his pump so that he can easily store it indoors for the winter and probably greatly extend the life of at least the motor. I'm on my 3rd motor in 13 yrs.
