Wow, I remember listening to this song on the VHS tape as a child. It was one of my favorite things to watch. I am a 16 year old boy who hasn't cried since he was 12, this song almost brought a tear to my eye. Sadly, my dumbass taped over the VHS :(. Thank you for uploading!

@93DOL I can tell 'cause they met a J70 on holiday in Yarmouth in 1952 and so after that, Toby came to the world of Thomas :)

@buzzxr1 Yep I respect the classics lived around for most of them I was born in 1992 series 4 came out in 1995 and series 3, 2 and 1 were around b4 me but still fairly new and only just coming out on VHS, I'm a fan of Thomas and always will be no matter how bad they made it series 8 onwards and I got series 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11 & 12 on DVD

@BeastDoggie1 True, but some of the early songs were actually the themes of Characters. Don't judge a Book by Its Cover is made from Terence's theme, and is about him. Duke's theme can't really go well with lyrics, though some was of his sorta theme was made into Night Train.

But if it wasn't for Sir Topham Hatt, Toby would never have gotten to work on his railway with Thomas, Percy, James, and all the Really Useful Engines. He would have had nothing to do, and Henrietta would have been turned into a henhouse! And, as Toby put it in "Thomas in Trouble", "That would never do!"

Hmmm... According to this song, Tobys from somewhere north of the island. According to the sodor map on wikipedia, Sodor is South east of the Isle of Man. Does that mean Toby's from the isle of man?
