i think most of the charm is the different language at least for most americans i believe that to be the reason. i like jrock for the fast beats. alot of american rock is slow or light nowadays. some exceptions but...not enough fast stuff for my tastes
@MugenYomi Also the lyrics match up to the song in most Jrock... nowadays english lyrics are at half the speed or in a different style entirely from the instrumental.
