  • wow. loaded mag and finger on the trigger. sir let me say that is going to hurt if your not careful. i know we all know basic saftey. so.... i think i speak for all when i say... LIKE REALLY?????

  • the check was pointless since u had your finger on the trigger

  • golfball sights, they suck

  • Nice Indy Zippo...

  • Im about to get me the 23, right now i got the g33

  • what do you use that gun for

  • always keep your finger off the trigger always treat a gun like its loaded right

  • glocks are pretty fucking rad i got the 23.

  • whats the price range on the glock 23?

  • @DYCEMONEYDA1 About $550, or if you can find a good deal at a gunstore about $500. I've never seen one lower than $480.

  • @bigstabby Depends on where you live, where you buy, taxes. Shop in store and online and figure S&H and FFL use on line and see if in store is cheaper or not. I got mine cheaper alreay in store. $623. Online would have run me a bit over $650 having it shipped to the closest FFL.

  • love glocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • you should do a video with it shooting.

  • hi, I have a glock 23 old style 1st generation that originally came with 13 rds magazine but, I live in Massachusetts and the only large capacity mags I can put in my glock are those manufactured before sept 13,1994. do you have any idea how can I get one?

  • is that 1st generation?

  • noticed the zippo in the background its a nice one

  • I know a guy that always has +2 glock factory, americangunworks do t com

Check him out he is a real good dealer.

  • i know what im getting when i go to south africa :D

  • is glock 23 40 cal?

  • @FuriousPixel yeper!

  • @FuriousPixel all glock 40 cal

  • @victortsui123

all glocks are not 40 cal dumb shit

  • @FuriousPixel you said a bad word, i'm telling.

  • What gen is this G23? and what gen did they start making this with the monut rails on the end of the gun?

  • Looks like a second generation Glock. I think 1998 was when they put finger grooves and light rail on the Glocks.

  • i can pay for this gun 1000$ but i can get this gun in my country pakistan this is my email zoony25@yahoo.com if any body have this gun then contect me plz

  • You could get a magazine sleeve and use the G22 mag instead of the extensions that aren't as reliable as the factory mags.

  • why do the cops in your area have glock 23's???? that's not fair, they aren't federal agents, they are just everyday run of the mill cops....

  • @Keith459001 WTF?

  • wats a plus two base plate!!!!!

  • what are you doing live ammunition wtf it has no safety what are you doing

  • @Shazee083 he never cocked the gun did he so it was perfectly safe, "what are you doing" posting idiotic comments. nice vid man very interesting.

  • @jakmeoff1 if you dont cock the gun or the the anumination could go on the chamber its a glock

  • @Shazee083 ur an idiot... that gun doesnt go off unless u do the necessary steps, it even has anti-fall safety, they are in the form of serrations up in the barrel... go educate ur retarded ass before u go up in here talkin shit... the way ur suppose to carry a glocc is one in chamber so ur ready to go... thats why cops use it, minimal parts for just pullin and shootin if needed

  • For those of y'all botching about his trigger finger....get bent! I saw nothing wrong with his method. The only time his finger was inside the trigger guard (maybe from our angle it could go either way) was when the gun was unloaded. And if u think one should never touch a trigger w/out being ready to discharge the weapon, well I guess you've never field stripped a Glock b4?

  • 0:43

Just a heads up (I'm making a conscious point to say this whenever I see it), it's a bad habit to place your finger on the trigger when you don't intend to fire it. I've had accidents happen that almost resulted in my demise due to this.

On that note, I'm not trying to knock you, I'm just trying to help people out so nothing bad happens ;-)

  • gunbroker try there man they got all kinds of stuff..u juss gotta look

  • I'm going for my permit soon

  • I run the model 22 mags in my 23 also. I like the look better than the extended base plate, too. Thanks for the vid dude. ~Wolf

  • i live in canada and i have the smae tings as him its a really nice pice of awesome work try ig surplus

  • i have that same zippo.

  • Dude, keep your finger away from the trigger and you'd have much more credibility. Flat along the frame, son, until your sights are on target and you've made an conscious decision to shoot. You'll be with us much longer making more Glock videos.

  • @rkimball6 Yeah, this guy's a clown. If people would just keep their itchy little fingers outside the trigger guard there would be no accidents. This guy is definitely going to unintentionally blow a hole in something. Maybe his mommy will take his gun away.

  • @DJPICTURES13 What do you think kid?

  • @DJPICTURES13 I'm pretty fucking sure it's a bb gun seeing the fucking bullets when he loaded it.

  • @DJPICTURES13 ya its a bb gun its this really cool new model that uses these new bbs could bullets and they can kill dum ass

  • @edog355 lol

  • @DJPICTURES13 well of course its a bb gun, I mean all bb guns have frigin bullets in them

  • i shot my dads glock 23 for the first time today its pretty cool

  • Lucky you can have those. In Canada, handgun magazines (with the exception of rimfire for some odd reason) have a limit of ten rounds. The smallest .40 S&W magazine that Glock makes is the 9 rnd magazine so putting the +2 on the magazine puts it at 11 rounds which is illegal. Because somehow having 1 extra round means you'll be more likely to commit crime. Thanks Liberals!

  • Wouldn't a Glock 23 be illegal in Canada due to the short (relatively) barrel?

Luckily I live in the great state of Georgia where just about anything goes gun-wise. The only thing you need for a concealed permit (actually called a firearms license) is $48 dollars cash and a clean record.

  • @MegaMonkeyChunk what kind of guns can you have in Canada just curies

  • quick one, thx

  • looks like an old glock.........

  • Ur going about this the wrong way bro, buy the 29 round mag, ive got 3 of them and i love shooting with them equiped!

  • Man, I've gotta do some gun shopping. Too bad I live in Australia; the firearm's worst enemy.

  • Not as bad as the UK.

  • not australia. California. almost everythings ilegal. no barret 50. cal,no assualt rifles, and it is SO hard to get a license to carry a concealed firearm. almost everyone that is non-police/military can not get a license. pretty much the only option to get a license is to be a police officer/or the military

  • 5 stars for Indiana Jones lighter

  • You can get the mag extensions online at GlockMeister.

  • u could get a glock 22 mag it will work

  • Have you ever used the 9MM conversion on the glock 23. I'm about to buy my first Glock and was going back and fourth between the 19 and 23???

  • 19 is the best

  • Glock 23, NO DOUBT!

    HUGS, FROM BRAZIL!!!

  • Hey bro, ever get that base plate extension?

  • the only difference is the length of the barrel and the caliber the pistol fires. Glock uses the .40 and 9mm.

  • What is the difference of all the GLOCK guns ? can somebody tell me

  • different glcoks are differet sizes and they fire different rounds.

you have glocks in 9mm wich are full size pistols

    and smaller.

other calibers are the same way

  • the only difference in the glock handguns are the caliber

  • and of course different caliber means different size and different fire power

  • different sizes and different calibers... jump on their site and look up the models for more info

  • ZombieSlayer991, they all work the same way. There are really only 2 differences between the Glock models: caliber and size. For example, the Glock 22 is .40SW caliber and full size. The Glock 23 is .40SW caliber and compact size.

  • barrel length, grip length, caliber, ported vs. non-ported barrel, width (only glock 36 comes in single stack so it is more narrow)

go to their website to learn more about the different models...

  • @ZombieSlayer991 barrel length, overall size. calibers used etc.

  • glock 23 is the gun i have one its great

  • i dont know enough about your countries laws to tell you.

  • glock 23 is not auto, is compact semi-auto pistol.

  • The only ammo I have ever had problems with was the wolf 40 s&w... and actually it had a bad primer but that blazer it a good rnd to feed through

  • Comment removed

  • Compressing and uncompressing springs is what wears them.

  • no I have never had a jam, fte, ftf, yet and i use the cheapest target ammo i can find. only have 500 through her though so no real test yet. but my buddy had his jame the glock 23 dosnt like to eject the shell if there is no mag in the gun when it is fired, not a big problem because obviosly you dont have more round going in if the mags out but still

  • i have shot that gun and it is awsome go to woodville police on the youtube search its funny it is tazer training

  • Great vid man but i agree with toolboy77. I saw you check your gun's chamber but dont slot in a fresh mag. two reasons for this, one is sods law. If it can go wrong then the chances are it will. Two you should unload your mags as it allows the springs to rest thereby reducing "wear and tear" on your magazines.

  • Nice vid if I can make one suggestion is that for vid purposes you should work with empty mags. I now you check that you dont have a round in the gun but still work with empty guns. We wanna keep watching youre vids with you alive and all parts accounted for!!! Good work very informative like it!!

  • sweetest gun around. lol

  • Not a lot to do with the gun at all. Its just Speer Gold Dot seems to be out performing almost every other defensive round right now. Although Federal HST and Hornady TAP FPD ammo are close seconds. I have yet to find any round that my glock has had problems with.

  • @haus340 you want a good defensive round better than a gold dot? Try Winchester ranger T-series, it looks pretty mean when its expanded!

  • Negative, the Ranger Ts are a fantastic defensive round BUT the jacked is not bonded to the lead core, a non bonded projectile causes the bullet to separate upon impact of solid obstacles.

  • @haus340 show me a vid or picture where it has seperated...

  • I retract the bonded statement. Winchester is now offering the Ranger T-series as a bonded projectile. Even with that, Gold Dots are still hitting much harder. And Winchester does not offer a wide range of bullet weights like Speer does. In any caliber, I can select a Speer Gold dot that with out perform a T series.

  • Very good point. Both rounds are great for defense. Type this in your youtube search bar, and watch:AT1 - .45 ACP - Winchester Ranger-T Series 230 Gr JHP

  • The Glock 23 .40 Caliber, good handgun. Compact pistol with plenty of firepower. Looking for any high-capacity magazine. Go to the nearest dealership who sells to the Law-enforcement community. They have plenty on stock when certain Police Dept., trades their old firearms and gets new ones. The usually turned over their used magazines, etc.

  • i want one so bad

  • Great glock 23 I have one as well I carry the SPEER GOLDDOT ammo.

  • me too, Glock 23 with Speer 155gr.

  • The Glock 23 uses a 13 round magazine not a 15. The plus 2 will make it a 15 round magazine.

  • the mags will fit. you can use the g22 mags in g27 and a g23 and they are not illegal to own the ban been lifted now a couple years unless your in Califonia I got a 1st gen g23 and I use g22 mags 165 gold dot 135 corbon no problems in the 13 years that i've owned this weapon I heard a navy seal on tv say once that the glock series of handguns are the best combat handgun on the planet and I believe him

  • I never said they were illegal and know they are not, also just because the mag's fit in the weapon does not mean they were designed for the weapon.

  • $500 worth of fun!

  • .357 sig and .40 mags are interchangeable. .357 sig is necked down .40

  • I prefer the 22 to the compact and subcompact.

  • i own one to its the second gen

  • its a 23

  • Wow, that's the older version of Glock.

  • the floor's on fire......AND the chair!!!

  • i just picked up a G23 but i'm planning on getting 22G mags instead of +2, but theres knowledge your comments.

  • which glock generation is that? looks like really old one

  • you can also get a sherrer 31 round magazine that will fit the glock 22, 23, and the sub compact version it is what i have on my glock 23 along with a crimson trace beam grip hence the name, "40comeswith30"

  • I carry my G23 with a regular magazines with 165gr Speer Gold Dots.

Like you, I also carry G22 mags.

Hard to say where to get the baseplates or sleeves. I googled and found the part numbers + suppliers a while back.

Worst comes to worst, you still have 15 rounds using G22 mags. I bet the 357sig mags work as well.

    Good Luck.

    -Mike

  • good job man love the g23

  • Good Job. 5 Kool Pts 4 u

  • Great Glock you have there. +2 Mags are illegal here. But so are 17 round mags but that never stopped me.

    Good Video!

  • Hey Matthew,

    That's a great idea!

    Cool video!
