  • whats the handle made out of ?

  • @Darkstar2520 G10.

  • when i watched this video i thought u were going to kill me . . . haha jk. just ordered this knife a couple days ago and will be delivered today and i cant wait. ! ! hmmm can u pm me with a link of the sharpener u use? i dont know how to sharpen at all and it sounds like what u use will be great for me.

  • In my opinion, the 940 is a bit better.

  • haha, 5:16 happened to me!

  • I AGREE THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST KNIVES OUT THERE! I own about 30 high grade knives and this is my edc choice every day! super strong! does not rip pants at all. i have heard about beig able to convert to assist?

  • You're the first person to mention conversion to assist to me but I definitely think it's plausible to convert any manual opening Benchmade Axis lock knife to assisted opening or even automatic. From what I gather, the only real differences are the presence of certain springs and simple parts that can be bought or easily machined out. I wouldn't really trust myself to modify one but if you ever attempt it, let me know how it goes!

  • ihave had my rift apart to see and the liners are pre drilled for most of the stuff including thje lock. i think the end part of the blade(near the end of serrations) must be filed for it to work correctly but it will work!

  • I wish this was assisted open. I wish you could have your option of any model assisted open. I like my barrage. Such a awsome knife. Super strong and quick opening.

  • I also like the Barrage. When I was ordering this, I was sort of torn between the Barrage, the Rift and The Presidio. Personally, I've never been particularly fond of assisted openers since I have several autos but they are still quite handy.

  • Thanks for the clip,

I have the rift (the black one, not coted)

amazing knife. I wish the liners were drilled to reduce the wight.

  • The weight's never really bothered me. I think there are videos on how to drill out the liners but disassembling the knife will void the Benchmade Lifesharp warranty.

  • where else would you get a knife?

  • where can i get one

  • Gun shows, hunting supply stores, internet, directly from Benchmade, local classified ads just to name a few.
