@jaymorpheus11 As the game takes place several years after the original "Final Fight", Haggar has quit his job being mayor and runs a gym called "Mike's Mat and Muscle" and a dock called "Mike's Maritime Maintenance". He teaches you new moves and fights alongside you (Kyle) during the game. He's also playable in Arcade Mode (a more traditional beat 'em up experience closer to the first game). Guy and Cody are playable characters as well. Jessica's whereabouts are not confirmed, though.

Capcom has the problem where they won't do anything that is different, original or cult. They just say "how do we take these classics that sold well, and make them fit the mold of what games ppl are playing now that sell well?" and make crap. The old FF games had a feel to the chars., music, theme, and art style like that old film 'The Warriors', mixed with a late 80's style manga, instead they tried to make a knock off of 'def jams' or 'hip' street brawling and gangster games or something...

Despite all the haters, the game is pretty damn good. Sure it has flaws in its story, but it was nice seeing the cast of Final Fight one, as well as a damn good 3d Brawler.

I agree, and the cut-scenes are short, simple, and to the point, unlike certain games which rely way too much on long boring drawn-out cutscenes, *cough*Metal Gear Solid*cough*. The voice-acting is also OK, and there's lot of Deadpan Snarker moments that are pretty funny too, especially from Kyle Travers.

Just to note, Capcom did not make this game. Secret Level made this game. And in 2008 they made Golden Axe: Beast Rider which is also terrible. Both games are disgrace to their respected series.

I agree, fighting Father Belger pisses me off too, but what REALLY pissed me off was how the story went from a brawler-style game to a Resident Evil-like exprienice. However, I admit the isn't that bad overall.
