well not to a t I used a thing I made much like you used in Poser in Wings, I might have goofed there but any help on how to fix this would be appreciated.
ok so I did this to a t, and I am getting split apart with the mesh any idea on how i can fix this, by the way this is the most easy to understand clothing tutorial I have seen yet, thank you.
@SWAGMASTERBLASTER I can't be certain but it sounds like your mesh has verts that aren't welded together. You might want to run your mesh through UVMapper[In UVMapper, select entire mesh, then use Edit>Tools>Wield Vetices.] to weld those verts or do it in Wings. Try the tut again to see if there's any change. Let me know!
OK, so does this work with your Omnisuit. I finally bought Poser 7 and tried this with the v4omnisuit_3, and a derivative I made from it, but they both ripped and had strange effects when applying a pose to V4. I used the Aery Soul AS Classic Fantasy Pose 02. I got a pic if you like. I was not sure if maybe this was sooo basic that for a more advanced object like that, maybe a few more steps are needed. :-s Thanks!
This should work with the omnisuits and omincoat/dress. But this tutorial is only for the most basic little skirt:D Still - no doubt - a lot of careful attention still needed in tweaking those Joint Parameters. PhilC has some tutorials already uploaded on youtube on how to handle those issues you're having. To me, it sounds like the grouping is causing mesh rips, and other issues. The only way to fix it is to go through in Poser or UVMapper and re-group things.
Thank you so much!! It's very simple and well put! It may sound dumb but I have a question though, which bundle the "V4 dev foundation" comes with? I have elite and base bundles and I guess I don't have it. Searching Daz didnt help me either :(
Looks like the Dev Foundation came from the Professional Suite. Honestly, you can probably just email them and ask them to send it to you. It really should be free anyway...odd they dont include it in everything.
