The Chevy d max weighs a lot less. thats why its gutless and the towing capacities go down. No one will use a truck to take down 2 tooth pics in the ground or pull down a house with 6 tries. and no1 will move 2 trains that weigh that much! and no moron would ever smoke out 6 expensive tires til there bald and therefore fails a few other tests. i dont like how they did completely different tests for each truck to "prove there better than the other" and how they each treat the trucks differently.

@TheRadicalRoberts i'll see if i can find that ford story on the net..i did have it..i lost when my compt went down a few months ago ..and if you know anything about chevy you know the first either 700 or7000 sbc in 55 do not have GM part #'s or an oil filter..by 55 everyone used some type of filter..why did GM just miss it on the sbc??....and chevy was THEE last car maker not to have a v8 ...so by 55 with the introduction of the all new chevy ..they were in a hurry to get a motor

There is no doubt in my mind which of these 3 trucks is the best, and it's the ford. That being said I think Rutledge forgot to turn off the traction control on the Chevy, I've witnessed that same model brake the tires loose with ease. Something was certainly amiss, but again Ford is the victor this year.

The ford driver led off a little and then applied the brakes with the gas already applied. That makes the difference.
