Sadly, The Dave and Sam tour disolved as well, before I got a chance to see it. When that tour broke down, Hagar was comparing DLR to KISS in terms of their presentation to the audience on stage, and yes, that's true to an extent, but that's also selling it short. The report is that DLR was hired for his PA gear, like the Stones did with Bill Wyman, and not because he had the best voice, but his looks garnered the ladies, and that was a draw for the young band! hahaha

For everyone commenting on "it's not VH without Mike Anthony" or "won't see them until Anthony is back", I have mixed feelings on it. #1, Mike Anthony is one very average bassist who could be replaced by just about anyone. However, his backing vocals are (were) a HUGE part of Van Halen and without that, it will never be like VH of old. It simply can't be.
I'd love to see a full-on reunion, but I just don't know if it will ever happen.
