Thats what happens when you go over a 15 minute break. They send out the Chrome faced Cyborgs to Retrieve ya and send you back to produce more semiconductor chips in a cleanroom enviroment.

A great deal of attention went into this clip, that's for sure.

About 1:22, the sound of a slam matches that with THX shutting the door of the car he's stealing.

1:47, the car collides with barriers and the music's percussion matches it.

And quite a few more.

Above all, the pacing and sequence of the editing is tight, fast, and tells the story.

Whoever did this is very talented, IMO, and makes me wonder if he does this professionally.

the directors commentary with the sound designer and added disc documentary on american zoetrope/making of etc more than made up for it though,,Id sincerely rank it as the most interesting directors commentary going

Any release of this film made prior to the DVD release will have the original footage without CGI.

This means that the best quality of the movie besides obtaining either a 35mm print or the negative of the original edit would be the LaserDisc release.
