It is REALLY hard for me to watch this after having watched your RANDY video filmed in the same city. I have no sympathy for middle-class punk rock fashion beggers. Whatever money she gets should be funneled to RANDY.
The reason people act like you ain't there & don't exist is because there are so many people on the street begging for money we get tired of it. You cant walk a corner downtown without being asked for something. So everybody is so use to it & fed up with it, they just ignore em most of the time. It's sad, but shit, it ain't our job to support you. We have our own shit to worry about.
Does anyone get the feeling that they want to live like this? This actually can be a great way to live while youre young and it hasnt been all that uncommon in the past. Theyre idealists... anyone remember the 60s?
I can appreciate their struggle, but most kids like this are homeless because they are selfish hedonists, who live off of other people's sympathy. They get kicked out of home for being turds, and then talking about making everyone equal, while they do not look for employment, or make the sacrifices needed to procure work. I personally have never met a sober young backpacker.
I have a very good friend who is homeless. He told me that he enjoys it because of the freedom, the neighborhood, I take care of him. I mean, our ancestors lived like this years ago. I don't see the problem if you CHOOSE it.

@ninuxy We need to make it easier for people to get work. A lot of homeless want to work but are unable to for various reasons such as mental illness. Most of these street kids become homeless at a very young age and don't have the basic things you need to start out in the workforce. It's hard to get a job if you have no address, phone, social security card, etc. It's not like in the old days when an able bodied person could just show up at the harbor in the morning and put in a day's work.
