  • Oh, steam runs on the mainline are becoming more and more popular as the preservation societies have put a lot of time and effort into restoring these fine ladies to mainline standard along with the rolling stock. It's a great day out with a carnival atmosphere. It changes people...they talk and wave as the train goes by. It seems to be in the blood of the Brits!

  • Sorry - my fault - didnt watch it all te wa through before replying.

    As No.7 leves, the camera zooms out to sow an HST arriving on the adjacent platform, and a First TPE 185 on the next platform over from that (platform 9 if i remember correcty). The trainshed can just be seen on the left of the 185.
